I agree with tallidaho. Either that or get someone to jump of a rather tall
building. 5 storeys ought to do the trick.
Oh and the subject would hvae to like as soft as possible, but not too
heavy to get the maximum amount opf bounce ____________________ "There are no atheists in foxholes" is not an argument against atheists.

Feral, you know better than to pick on people smaller than you (even if
they ask you for it)! Bad Feral!
As far as the expiriment... I think what we should just go with the
trampoline method-- jump as high as possible, and then pull it out from
under the subject.... ____________________ Being Passionate is the only way to survive |

Hey I am new, too. Nice to meet ya guys! I am so glad that I found people
to talk about these things with. It seems like all of the energy made by
falling would be shot back through your body destoying cells and in other
words just maiming you. Is that what we're talking about? What happens to
the energy when you hit the ground? It's gotta go somewhere, and I think it
goes to the destruction of the physical body.
Might sound stupid.
Then again, that would be fitting. ____________________ Does anybody feel this way? Does anybody feel like I do? Though half of me

quote: For what its worth, high
powered rifles are not always efective killers. I've seen deers take a shot
from a gun you could kill an elephant with, and keep going. And I've seen
deers take an arrow and drop like they where hit by lightning. Its about
placement not power. In fact, a machine gun would probably cause more pain,
and pose less a chance of killing a deer, than you may think. Keep in mind
that its also rather easy to plug something from 70 or 80 yards with a
scoped rifle, than to get within 20 yards of a deer and not get caught,
with a bow.
But I can't convince anyone to agree with me, so I respect all of your
opinions, and hope that this doesn't put me in a bad light.
The rifle part there depends alot on the type of ammunition used.A full
metal jacket (military/police issue) will go straight through leaving a
hole smaller than that of an arrow.
Soft point or hollow point will expand upon impact and create a large wound
channel causing extensive blood loss in a short period of time. It will
also stop faster and transfer more of it's kinetic energy to target causing
a shockwave in the surronding tissue wich will do alot of damage causing a
lot of pain and suffering.
For exampel 5.56mm NATO (full metal jacket) round will leave a small hole
through a leg, while a 5.56 hollow point will most likely tear the entire
leg of the target causing extrem blood loss, most likely instant shock and
death within minutes (at the most).
And the Geneva convention calls full metal jacket rounds more humane? Go
figure =P
About the bouncing thing:
When you first jump from somewhere you will have a potential energy based
on gravity and mass(kg). As you fall, this will be converted to kinetic
energy. So the question of number of bounces will depend entierly on how
high up you start from, since the whole process will start over again as
soon as you initial bounce have stoped climbing.
In other words: bounce high enough and you get to bounce again =P
Although I doubt you will notice any of the bounces it it's you doing
them....

As for that hunting blurb...unfair advantages? WHAT unfair
advantages...Bears can kick the crap out of us...I won't hunt with anything
less than a fucking rocket launcher and heat sensitive optical gear...and
even then I hear Bears have access to active camo...freaking bears.
As for Dolphins...those poor sons of bitches get only my disdain and those

The more you know the better it is. The fact that you know that it is how
and where is better then most I have spoken to. Spending 15,000. Just to
hunt deer and stuff. He did it as a bonding thing with a son. *shaking
head* The fact you use it the way it was intended is why I have respect for
you. The point is to be open minded about the whole thing. WE are all
