We all have talents: some can draw, some can do digital art, some can take
killer photos, some can sing, some can model, some can learn, some can
teach, some can play musical instruments, some can write, some can edit,
some can find the beauty in anything, some can find the beauty in nothing,
and some can just be...
What I want to know is this: what do you consider your art (or your talent,
if you want to use that term)?

My writing and my photography. What great is that I get almost no articles
posted and their are ZERO pictures of mine on the site......why you
ask............
NO ONE EVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT WE WERE GOOD AT DAMNIT!
just what our art was.......I cry now. ____________________ “The only thing that can alter the good writer is death.”

I love to sing, draw (or paint) and write.I've been doing it throughout all
my life... Also when performing a song I adore to give the music a visual
effect, so I'm into visual kei aswell..it becomes very theatrical. But I am
very open to any types of art, Its amazing how when you see another one's
art its as if they're letting you see a part of their soul..its quite
inspiring. My ARt also is exploring people's arts, dreams and images..Its
like scanning millions o f different heavens.. ____________________ I belong to no one. no organization confines me,no community,no society, no

In general:
Write, sing, take pictures, graphic design, web design, etc etc etc.
My art has always been in mastering the art of all that I can. I see
something interesting and then I try and learn everything about it. Then I
try and do it myself. If it seems I could improve at it then I keep going
but if I downright suck, I find something else neat to try. I want to know
every style and every thought process of any given thing I find 'beautiful'
or 'artistic'. I search for what reflects me in those things and then
express it. I give each thing I do a part of me.
That is the best way I can describe what I consider my art. |

I'm a pianist, specializing in the contrapuntal works of J.S. Bach (or used
to be, when I had a piano *sigh*.)
I can pick up a working knowledge of any stringed instrument in a
disgustingly short amount of time.
I can learn foreign languages and pick up accents like no man's
business.
I have an inborn knack for interior decorating.
I can cut my own hair.
I can make people trust me. Of course, I cheat, cause they really can, but
sometimes its hard to make people believe that.
I am a good listener. I pay attention, ask the right questions, and think
about what has been said. People often end up knowing more about
themselves after talking to me.
Above all, I am very patient and can give people who seem shmengy all the
chances they need to prove otherwise. But beware. I'm not a push-over,
and if you try to prove yourself nice when you aren't, I will notice, and I
reserve my well-hidden mean streak for people like you! ____________________ "You can tell by the scars on my arms and the cracks in my hips and the

Well, I write. I have been writing for years. I just get amazing ideas in
my head, and I go with them, but I have only finished one story before. I
am currently working on my longest story ever, and it happens to be a
lesbian love story. I always wrote cute little childrens stories when I
was younger, but as I grew older, and my step-mother became demanding of me
to write them for her friends, I gave it up, and developed a writer's
block. I wanted to write, and I wanted to write more grown up stories, but
I figured if she found out I was writing again, she would want to read them
and I would have to show them to her, so I didn't write. Now I am writing
again, and keeping the tales on disks which I keep with me in my purse. I
know she wont be able to access them that way, and I don't tell her I have
been writing. I don't know how long this story will take me to complete,
but I know it is going to be my best yet. ____________________ "People always say what we are looking for is a meaning for life…I don't

I do anything that is not sculpture, not expresionism, not impressionism,
and including every medium except for oil pastel, I hate those things...
I create pictures from my subconcious. And now, I'm at an impasse'....

Moving away from the more traditional answer that I gave earlier, and upon
some reflection, I remembered a couple other things I'm good at.
I am a very good listener. I may not always have the best advice, and I
will be the first to say so, but in so many cases, people didn't want
advice as much as they just wanted to talk something through without
interuptions... I'm glad to be able to give that to others when they need
it. I used to be terrible at hugs, but when I really discovered my penchant
for listening and comforting others, I refined the art of my hugs as well. ____________________ "I've told you before, I don't comprehend religion, although

Yeah, when my sister got her BSN, they had a bulliten board up before they
took their boards that said "We've had enough of the BS, now how about our
N."
I thought it was mighty humorous. ____________________ Okay, dazzle me. |

M_W, BS is both a talent and a skill. It's fun when one runs into nurses
with their "Bachelor of Science in Nursing"...it abbreviates to BSN, and
BS'n is a good talent to have when one has to comfort a person who is
dying...it's just funny to see that on the name tags.
Another talent I've got: I can make guys who say they can last for hours
cum in less than ten minutes. I don't see how that helps me, but it's
still funny.
I also serve as the rock for my family. I can remain pretty numb, just
comforting people, until I build up enough absorbed emotions to finally
cry...and I'm usually alone when I do it. It's a good thing, especially in
times like these.

I doodle a lot...but I think my real art is in being able to skim through a
novel and pick up on themes, tones, repeated imagery, and the like and then
wow my prefessors with what they think was a close careful look at the
work. So basically I am good at BS.
That and I can scare kids into behaving. ____________________ Okay, dazzle me. |

I draw, play bass guitar(not so good at it yet, only had it for two
months), write poems, short stories, and I'm almost finished with my book.
I can edit and proofread practically anything written by man, woman, or
ape. I have been working with photography and painting. I kickass at
debate, that is if I know the basis of the original argument and a bit of
the history. I am an amazing flute player (to those that appreciate
classical music). If painting nails is a talent. I'm also a rather skilled
chess player.
Oh yeah, is causing pain a talent/art? ____________________

I write, if anyone ever sees my drawings or paintings they will be glad I
can write as well as I do. Other than that i can lose myself while playing
