Damn, it was yesterday and I thought it was today! I missed it! *cries* He
will probably be back eventually. Look for him in your local bookstores...
he's signing a book called, "Make Love The Bruce Campbell Way". I'm sorry,
bettie.

interested in asserting your superiority in a childish way: I have some
ear-wax which you are almost certainly funnier than, and which you may have
commented on the decay of society before.
shush. he has every right to say that. and he makes a valid point. The
world changes all the time. change, obviously, mean it becomes different
than it used to be and no matter what that change is there will be the
people who say "What happened with this? it has all gone to shit." your
parents probably said it at one point, your grandparents probably said it
at one point. eventually i will probably be saying the same thing. it is
simply the product of change. everyone alive has different thought on how
it should be done.
now wormwood im sorry but i disagree with you. and maybe that is
because im young and jaded but i wont realize that until i am at least 25,
maybe 30. the world is perfectly fine just like it has always been and will
always be. starting with your particular complaints about politics, the
magazines and newspapers have turned into gossip about scandals that may or
may not exist - ok, so talk to people instead. politicians campains lead
then all around the country, try to ask then your questions in person. if
they can't take the time to talk to the people would they be a good leader
anyway? maybe you could write an article and submit it to the newspaper
yourself. continuing on this point - magazines are corporate setups to get
young kids to confoum to celebrity sized standards and brainwash the
general public into not thinking about world events like war. so stop
reading them! read a book for gods sake! it is perfectly fine to read
things that don't have pictures. for anyone who does need the pictures
there are plenty of books for kids that have pictures on every page. i
recommend you "Bicycle Bear" it is a very good book. just give him a ring
and he'll be there! on to the next point. TV is frying your brain? nothing
good on? can you guess what im going to say next? go outside. there is sun,
there is shade, there is even semi shade, it could be raining but umbrellas
are cheap at the local dollar store. walk there it is good for the
enviroment. dollar stores don't go fashion corporate, not that i've seen
anyway. they are essentially "what can we get and sell really cheap while
still making a profit". the whole gothic and punk fashion show is mostly in
the fashionable stores, so shop at value village or mcc or any random
consignment store - most town have a least one thrift shop. so what if you
can't find what you want. now that you have turned off the tv and stopped
buying all those magazines you have the money buy fabric and the time to
learn to sew.
it is not that hard to live outside the media. just dont pay so close
attention. i cant even remember the last time i turned on a tv or even saw
a commercial. one of the best magazine i will randomly flip open is "weekly
update" at seven eleven because it is funny as hell and they are not too
bad with photoshop. when online i go to forums, like this one, not
abcnews.net/com and a half. you say britney spears but i have barely heard
anything about her for 3 or 4 years. why? because it is not important, it
is in the magazines but nobody talks about it because it is simply not
important. I heard about Ronald Reagan dying though. lots of people liked
him.
quote: The bumble bee flies
because it believes it can.
scandals keep being reported, and tv shows keep getting replayed and
creativity keeps getting squashed because the crowd does not demand it.
like stated creativity is not needed for success because the crowds keep
loving and watching and reading what is already there. even still there is
motion, people working to break into new technologies or make watermelons
into purple triangles or what. if people just stoped watching tv it would
have to get new shows or better shows to attract people back to it or it
would simply have to stop running.
go outside, get fresh air, walk somewhere, it is better than driving.
humans are just a passing phase anyway but we might as well take a little
care for the enviroment while were here, it is better for our own health as
well. the world is perfectly fine, it always has been, it is a
lot older than us. eventually we will all die out and be
grown over and decompose and there will be nothing left of what was once
humans except and we will replace the oil and push up all the trees and
flowers we cut down. gone full circle.
anywho, the main point is that the crumbling media is encouraging us to get
off our asses and do real things instead of sit in front of a tv and read
real literature instead of "how to have better sex" articles. if you want
better sex, go experiment... as long as you are of some appropriate age.
somehow i don't see something wrong being forced to go outside. and if your
parents are worried about being able to contact you, tell them the number
is 42.
end rant now.

bettie: According to this website
http://www.bruce-campbell.com/index.htm , Bruce was in Seattle, WA
yesterday for the book signing. (That is if the dates and places haven't
been changed and just not updated on the website.) ____________________ "When choosing between two evils, I always like to try the one I've never

May I request that my eloquently masterful and conceptually rife associate
produce a treatise on 'Anarcho Syndicalism and its benefits'. A subject on
which I know he is both knowledgable and would be pleased to write. I
enjoyed and was enlivened by our recent converse on the subject and would
be delighted to learn more. If you can't be bothered to write it we'll just
have a chat about it down t'pub.
