Anyway, so where was i? Routine itself does not scourge wisdom, but it can
depending upon how you treat it. If you have a routine job and life and
such, and resign yourself to that and cordon yourself off with a velvet
rope of your own construction, you will find your mind will solidify in
place like so much quikrete (the handy, dandy, easy to mix concrete for all
your jobs around the house, also good for hiding corpses!), but in any
situation you can choose to keep your mind alive and growing. I used to
work factory jobs, or repetitive or unchallenging office jobs (like the one
i am overpaid to do now), but i do other things with my mind during that
time. I will recite books to myself, build mechanical objects mentally,
think about different things, anything but zoning out and letting my mind
go to sleep.
So in short, no, being subjected to a routine is not anti-wisdom or
anti-intelligence, but putting your mind into a routine and a rut with too
few outside influences can certainly lead to mental stagnation if not
decay. That's my take anyway.
Here are some smileys, since I currently lack rabbits with pancakes on
their heads.

Dood, I miss my old routine. Maybe it's one of those times where I need
some obnoxious armchair pundit telling me I didn't know what I had until it
was gone, but I miss just doing my 40 hour work week and then going home
the podling and engaging in simple, non-intellectual stuffs and wonders.
School makes everything very unroutine.

I am so looking forward to being jobless for two months it's not even
funny. And yet, I don't want to be jobless in the US. I think it's all a
matter of where you are jobless as to how much jobless effects you. Being
jobless in Thailand is great balls of fun. Being jobless in bum fuck
Florida is not so nice.
And to the regulars.
You people kill me, I laughed until I cried.
Rouge, I'm not sure, but I'm afraid that image is going to becoming a
masturbatory fantasy, is that wrong?
Mono? A farmer? heh. Loved that.
Mono: Have you been drinking again, you are far to coherent to be sober.
Hugs to all of you.
