My husband and I were going to go see it, but we wanted to stay home and
drink so we bought King Pin (we buy because for me it´s cheaper than
renting...I couldn´t return a movie on time to save my LIFE) and stayed at
home.
I heard it was good.
Doubt I´ll get to the movies anytime soon...prolly wait till it´s on dvd.

Last movie I saw was........
fuck...
Well, Road to Perdition was good. But that´s not the last movie I saw..
it must have been quite a traumatic experience, so don´t go see the last
movie I saw. If I remember it I´m sure I´ll post it. ____________________ Make way for the bad guy! |

ah signs.. i heard it was done in a classical hitchcock kindah way.. where
you dont see the enemy or whatever. i *might* go see it..
i did however put myself in the class of cheeseball.
i went and saw austin powers: goldmember. i thought it was silly. and its
all worth it to see brittney spears head explodies... ____________________ "Thou shalt not be afraid of the dark, nor of graveyards nor ghosts nor the

Hey Bettie, you know the really shitty bowling alley that the show in King
Pin, that´s the one by where I live. For such a dump, the Beaver Valley
Bowl is in a lot of movies.
The last movie I saw was In The Mouth Of Madness, I bought it yesterday.
Before that was Armitage III, Return of the Living Dead 3(broken glass has
never been so sexxy), Dagon (Great Lovecraft movie), and Evangelion: Death
and Rebirth.
I don´t really have plans to see Signs. Might watch it if one of my
friends buys it, I´ll probably just sleep through it though. ____________________ Sometimes I dream about dinosaurs shopping for cargo shorts at the Gap.

Yeah, and none of the gaming companies (largely Japanese) can seem to be
able to make the same game for all three regions. Why in beans does Japan
and Europe get all these good sleeper-hit games but America´s jipped?!!
Anyway, this is my mid-week checkin. I´m on vacation, so I can only check
in at shmeng when my father is out shopping.
And you Europeans withhold stuff from us, too, ya know! Like all those
Volkswagens! And Triumph motorcycles!
But no, I don´t think I´ll see signs. It doesn´t seem very... original?
High in quality? I´m not sure. But I never get to go to the movies anyway. ____________________ Piggy's got the Conch! |

Signs had a good idea, but wasn't edited together very well. Oh and William
Wallace as a preacher???? WTF was that all about? |

i loved sighns...the directer also directed "the sixth sense" and
"Unbreakable"....i think those movies are well done...and it seemed to me
like what he was doing in all the movies is take something extremely weird
and turn it into something relatable. i don't know i just liked them. ____________________ "It is a fool's prerogative to utter truths that no one else will speak." ~

I though it was a good movie, but when you think about it the aliens were
completely stupid.
WHY WOULD YOU INVADE A PLANET COVERED IN WATER, WITH A MOIST ATMOSHPERE, IF
WATER KILLS YOU?!? That's like us deciding to invade Venus.

I think it's an ok movie. I've seen it 50 million times because they play
the hell of it on TV. It's actually pretty funny if you watch it and you're
in the right mood...With the preacher guy running and trying to scream
obsanities, even though it sounds strange and the unlce guy telling the
little Mexican kids to "vamos" when he sees the alien on the TV. Yah. ____________________ In my eyes, to be human is not to be able to live and die, but it is to

I saw a documentary on Mel Gibson and his new film the day before, and I
thought he was a pretty intelligent guy, even if he does talk completely in
Hollywood clichés. But then I saw Signs and it nearly put me of him for
life. It offended me. It was just sort of scraping the bottom of the sci-fi
barrel to try and find an idea that handn't been done before and it found
all the really shit ideas everbody else threw out and chucked them all into
one big pile of film rubbish. ____________________ Light is changing to shadow, and casting a shroud over all we have known. |
