You know, I've heard them, there's a blackmetal/industrial/experimental
Metallica tribute cd out there somewhere. My brother in law has it, and
it's actually really good. It has that band, Nevermore, but I can't
remember the rest. It was pretty good. I really wanna know if the new
Danizg album "circle of snakes" or the new Dimmu Boijoir (god I wish I
could remember the title, it was extra evil) is worth my bucks.
All I know is that FYE has a judas preist box set, a cannibal corpse box
set, and an 80's hairmetal box set that I MUST HAVE!!! ____________________ Trapped in time. Surrounded by evil. Low on gas. |

I saw an awesome band last night called Apocalyptica (may not be the
correct spelling, I didn't read the name, just heard it so they may use a k
or something, I don't know, they supported Rammstein at the Brixton Academy
on saturday 5th feb if anyone wants to do further research)
It was four celli and a monstrous drumkit playing black metal and some
Metallica covers. They kicked arse. ____________________ Eritis sicut Deus scientes bonum et malum.

The Dresden Dolls are yummy.

Also, if you like violin, Andrew Bird's new album is amazing.

Meh.. This playlist has been drilled into my brain, perhaps I should
actually change it. But here:
The Point of No Return - Sarah Brightman & Michael Crawford [Phantom of the
Opera]
Half Jack - Dresden Dolls
When You're Evil - Cabaret Voltaire
Traum:A - Diary of Dreams
The Curse - Diary of Dreams
Beast of Blood - Malice Mizer
Setsuna's Theme - Angel Sanctuary [anime]
The Seahorse Rears to Oblivion - Current 93
Am Nachsten Tag - Johannes Berthold
Document [DJ Bludston Mix] - Assemblage 23
Hope Overture - Requiem for a Dream [soundtrack]
Hurdy Gurdy Man - Donovan
Soft Toy - The Legendary Pink Dots
Speak, Marauder! - Cinema Strange
Oh, and Starlight, is the elven music/website you speak of from a band
called "Elvendrums"? If not, disregard this.. Though I've heard a few of
their demos and it is quite interesting.

Its true, its all trueeee.....
The Killers' brand of scratchy-Indie-Student-Rock is horrrifically catchy.
I even tried not to like them for a while, just to see if I could. It
simply isn't possible to not sing along.

See I can understand people liking them because some of their songs are
very catchy. They play on the store music system sometimes, and it doesn't
drive me crazy, but I don't like hearing it in my free time. They bug
me.
Know what song is EXTRA catchy? The Killers "somebody told me". I haven't
heard a lot else from The Killers, but even if it's not your type of music,
you find yourself kinda boppin your head like a moron. ____________________ Trapped in time. Surrounded by evil. Low on gas. |

"slack jawed mouth breating jibberling" ?! I say goddamned, where can I
get one of THOSE?! But no realy, feral, that was wonderful.
Woody I SO AGREE. Tho I guess if you're naturally whiny and aggrivating
and you can make millions being that way, then those boys are doing MUCH
better than I am.
They're not new, but I've been listening to the Necromantics a lot lately,
and Murder City Devils. "In name and blood" is a whole album about Kenneth
Anger, and it rules. Mostly I've been sticking to hair metal and aquanet.
