How did this WTC and Pentagon thing come about? Whay is everyone blaming
someone we donīt even know?
<BR>Is it just me, or is
something bad about to happen, be it mass prejudice or WW 3?

Not bashing you, just making a point.

abbreviate with cyberslang, I can abbrev long as words like "xmas" "xian"
"xopher". X is the abbreviation for "chr" "rch" "christ" sounds....saw a
billboard yesterday that said a play was running "max-feb". Same deal, and
when an xian gets pissed at me, Iīll discuss it with them.

thanks for making me feel about . <-- that big. For one thing not
everyone is open minded all the time and this is just one of the issues I
am not open minded about. And I wasnīt trying to Christian bash and if you
were so open minded you would realize that its rude and disrespectful to
say xians. They hate that.

about all the Athiests that felt sorry. What about all the other religions
of the world that were neglected?

school how well would you handle it, versus midway or at the end when

some more. If he doesnīt, duck.

afghanistan because itīs afghanistan, and afghaniīs arenīt the terrorists
nor the targets. The taliban was just nice enough to put itīs hottest
targets where people wouldnīt want to bomb ie: schools, hospitals, crowded
cities. We went INTO afghanistan to help the already in place rebel
fighters ( who were not fighting their country men, they were fighting the
iron thumbed government that delighted in murdering their women and
starving their families and taking their sons to the grave) to find a GROUP
and eliminate them with as little cost to innocent life as we could. The
GROUP responsible for the attack and for the despair in afghanistan. We
arenīt at war with afghanistan, weīre at war with a terrorist network full
of madmen and murderers guilty of far more than the deaths in the states.
We set up a government. We sent aid. We sent food. We sent doctors.
<BR>Weīve done what we can to soften the blow, to ease the
transition to a free nation, to not be the enemy..to be the helping hand
weīve almost always have been.

see that at least everyone can agree that war is bad. War is not good.
War is sad and makes our little heads hurt because it makes us think too
hard. That itīs stupid.

us recognize it as awful but sometimes necessary to keep things from going

Dark Tigress, you ask what Afganistan did to warrent our attacks, well, for
starters, it was the Taliban we were after, not Afganistan, you should not
we helped them set up a better government afterwards. Second the whole
reason we went over there was because we said we wanted Bin Laden, and we
were willing to go into a country to get him. We wanted a suspect in a
recent terrorist attack, and someone we knew to be responsible for several
other terrorist bombings, and we went in to get him. The Taliban basicly
told us to screw off, and that they would defend him.
<BR>What we did was no different from a SWAT team kicking the door
in to rescue a group of hostages(the afganistan people) and bring a
criminal to justice. ____________________

oh everyones got nice COLORFUL language. I think here is where everyone has
something i common. No one likes all the shyt that been slung cuase almost
everyone has been hit in the face with this.

Morally, I think what youīre saying is right. True, we shouldnīt have to
lower us to their level. But cīmon, in practic reality, it just doesnīt
work. Sure, if everyone were nice to eachother this would be one hell of a
great world, but it wonīt happen. Bin Ladin is(or was?..) a maniac. He most
sincerely believes that USA = The Devil. I doubt youīd be able to solve
this situation peacefully with someone whoīs got such a twisted perspective
on the world. First off, had the US not bombed Afghanistan, there wouldīve
been a lot of new terrorist attacks after 9/11. The list of possible target
is huge: Large airports all over the country, The White House, Empire State
Building, The Statue of Liberty, Sears Towers, Golden Gate Bridge.. The
list could go on forever.
<BR>Secondly, I think they did
Afghanistan a favor by bombing them, as weird as it may sound. Think about
it. If they hadnīt bombed Afghanistan, the Northern Alliance would NEVER
have been able to overthrow the Taliban regime. Sure, there were civilian
casualties, but thatīs unavoidable in war. And compare the casualties in
Afghanistan to the would-be casualties in the US, if the US had not taken
action.

*raises an eyebrow* Amazing how mankind can say one thing and protest
against it, and then do it themselves thinking they are right. Fuck what
the terrorists think, fuck what the US thinks... sure the afghanistans are
total assholes for their beliefs, but what makes us more right when we kill
em?
<BR>I mean, they killed for their belief... they killed for
what they thought were wrong... they killed because they died.
<BR>Then people who thinks exactly the same come and does same

bads... and as I think, more bad than other nations... but they did not
cause the death of all poor people who got killed or hurt in the attacks...

warīs all about... killing... getting respect for how much blood you
shed... being egotistic. I know for myself though, that if my entire family
died of diseases and starvation because some other family wouldnīt want to
help us, I would sure get filled with wrath... and if I were raised
differently, I perhaps would kill them. Then if I deserve to get killed 10
times over back is up to people I guess...

when you think that I care for the terrorists or something... I just have
more common sence than sinking down to their level... because that makes me
as bad, no matter who started it. Why get stuck at who started it, when
someone can end it?

oh, and for the record, I wouldnīt hand over an unloaded rifle to todayīs
