Of topic, but that's something in America that I don't get.
In Europe you don't have to be 18 or 21 to get into a goth or music club. It's sometimes irritating, a bit of kids, but still...

Yeah, in romania the issue of age limit is hardly present, for almost...well, anything. Imagine, I have friends who used to be sent out to buy cigarettes or alcohol for their parents when they were really young.
Although the law says otherwise, you can buy a cigarette anywhere, it doesn't matter if you're 5 or 50. The only time I've ever heard of someone not providing sevices without ID was at the piercing parlor, but hey, they always run off saying... "if you won't do it, my friend will"...go figure.
Imagine my surprise when I was in this skanky bar and what couldn't have been more than a 12 year old kid comes up and asks me if I have a light. LaterI saw him smoking on a bar chair... *frowns* Getting into clubs isn't even an issue. Most clubs wouldn't be in business if not for underaged people.
I've always believed that if parents allowed their kids to try that "evil" alcohol and tabaco at home they wouldn't make such a big deal out of it, when alone. I'm a living exemple of that. But, then again, I'm lucky.Guess not a lot of parents urge their kids to be independent and actually trust them and don;t criticize every move... oh, well, I guess i"m going off topic here.

At Ceremony there is no age limit, but the bar is in a walled off area and you can't take your drinks out of it. Lipservice and all of the other nights at the Roman Room/Rum Shakers/whatever they are calling it now are 21 and over, you just have to be able to find a club located behind a coffee shop on a back alley if you want have no children present...
