Karma vs. Physics Date Friday, April 26, 2024 - 06:39 AM PST Topic This Website Rogue just convinced me to fix the Karma system that has been keeping people from posting for the last few years. I can't guarantee that everything else will work - in fact, I know there are a few things that are just broken. I don't have the time or motivation to fix them right now, but at least by fixing the karma, people will be able to post and try to motivate me to fix more. The problem was with the math that was used in the karma calculation. It worked well with short intervals between people's last post, but once the intervals got to be close to 10 years, it totally screwed up the formula.
