I have now found a replacement for my bathroom spider, for anyone that is interested! I stepped into the bathroom yesterday, to prepare the area to re-dye my boyfriend's purple hair. Lo and behold, there was a little spider, complete miniature of the one he killed, hanging from the center of the ceiling at eye-level. I took hold of its string and it crawled up to my hand. I showed it to my boyfriend, and he said I could keep it, just not in the shower. I tried to put it in the opposite corner to the shower, but it wouldn't go. It just wanted to crawl all over my hand. Finally I deposited it on the picture I have on a nearby wall, and it crawled over to the corner all by itself and started to build a web. Uncannily, that was not the only spider in my day. When we got into the car to go shopping, I found another spider on my lap. He (my boyfriend, not the spider) objected to a spider in the car, so I carefully scooped it up and tossed it gently out the window. I hope it found a happy new home. So of course, I had to buy a spider ring that day. I am wearing it now. It is beautiful. I like spiders!!!
