I have been without 'net connection for 12 days (hubby calls it the 12 days of NoNetness which we celebrated this year instead of X-mass). I had to talk to my husband, instead of IMing him (even tho our computers are in the same room. ok we both have computers in a couple of rooms and we have notbooks. We have no car, but hey who needs to leave the house?) I finally gave in and got dial up to help me survive until my DSL gets hooked up. See i just moved to a new town, 2000 miles from where i was. It required a drive across Texas. I had to see my mother in law. I tried to eat truck stop food. It didnt work. i just cant eat what they call fries and what they beleive to be salad EEk! Anyone know why motels NEVER have enough blankets? Anyhoo the point is that i have not seen my email in 12 days. I havent surfed for porn or downloaded any games, music, or anything for 12 days. I havent worked for 14 days (2 days for packing the truck and cleaning the house and I work online correcting web sites. My office is where ever i feel like working as long as I have a 'net connection.). The FIRST thing i did once i got earthlink (the third most evil ISP) to tell me my "real" user name was come here and start reading. I skipped my overflowing email. I passed over the icon for mIRC. Morpheus is NOT on. This was my first stop. I guess, to be all sentimental, now i am really home, now that i can lambast the panty wadded fools, make fun of the drunks, and get WAY too much info about other peoples dreams.
