I know I’m REALY new here, and should probably keep a lower profile before
starting anything, but this seemed worthy of note. I wasn’t sure if this
should go in religion or politics, but I decided it should go here. At the
top of the page I’ve placed a link to a news article about a judge in
Indianapolis who has banned a child’s parents from exposing him to wicca, a
faith shared by both the boy’s parents. I said in another post that I am
not a political person, nor am I wiccan, but if there is one issue I feel
very strongly about it’s the bill of fucking rights. It is completely
beyond me how any judge claiming to uphold the constitution of the United
States could ever make this ruleing; it would be one thing if the parents
were of different religions and needed a moderator as to how to raise the
child in his best interest, but both parents practice the same damn
religion. I don’t know about you but when a court appointed official feels
comfortable to make a call on what is an acceptable religion I find that to
be some scary ass shit!

Oh yah I remember reading that article earlier this week. There is follow
up article about the case somewhere on there...
Still though; how a judge came to that conclusion bewilders me. You can bet
this though the judge as well as the protective agency are in for a shit
storm.
