Here's a idea that I feel like tossing around, who here plays computer
games? Half-Life, FireArms, Day of Defeat, DoomII (online), Blood, Shadow
Warrior, Dark Reign etc? If so, who here would like to start battling
eachother online for the pure pleasure of killing your fellow shmengian?
(Is that even a word?)
In other words, any online gamers here feel like killing eachother, here's
the place to make the challenge. (Note: I suck in doom deathmatch for now,
i haven't played the game in over a few years and have lost my "groove", I
will get it back though.) ____________________ but at least you know, just how much pain there is in living |

I play Battlefield 1942, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, AOE2, and Galactic
Empires.
I can't play the first two right now though unfortunately, due to my
current lack of 3d video card. I can play at friends houses though.
Next time we do a LAN party, I can post a server to join. ____________________ Sometimes I dream about dinosaurs shopping for cargo shorts at the Gap.

Sometimes I switch to another set of games, but for now, that's all. ____________________ Sometimes I dream about dinosaurs shopping for cargo shorts at the Gap.

We had Ultima Assention, it's not UO but it's close. Problem is though,
patch after patch, it still didn't work.
Do you have pay to play per month for Battlefield 1942? I have RTCW, need
to install it again.
Oh yeah, just for kicks...
www.rpgclassics.com
If you like your classic rpgs (SNES, NES, GENISIS) check this place out.
You can play all these classic games on your comp for free. Just need a
emulator, rom(S) and if needed a patching tool to destroy the language
barrior.
*warning, roms can be more adictive than crack* ____________________

You don't have to pay anything per month for Battlefield 1942, just buy the
game, find someone that that has a server up, or start your own, then
play.
Another one that I think I might start playing again is Myth of Soma, it
had some problems before, but that was while I was beta testing it, they
may have been worked out.

Dark Reign and Total Annihilation are wonderful strategy games with amazing
soundtracks. They're not easy though.
I think I'm going to pick up Elder Scrolls III. BF 1942, I heard there are
some bad sound bugs, they fixed those yet with a patch?
Boots...that sucks. heh. ____________________

When it was in beta it would buzz occasionally, but normally only on the
not so good computers. I didn't notice it after the first couple of weeks,
so I'm guessing the first patch fixed it, and that is the version that they
are selling in the box I believe. ____________________ Sometimes I dream about dinosaurs shopping for cargo shorts at the Gap.

You know, I've tried a few online games...UO and the sort...but nothing,
nothing compares to the classics...
Playing pac-man for forty-eight hours straight, hopped up on so much
caffiene and sleep-dep that your mind curdles into a little yellow
pellets...AND THEN! One of those little fucking ghosts bites you in the
ass! Straight in the ass! And in a pac-inspiried burst of outright rage you
rip the entire freaking table-console thingie out of the ground and
relentlessly beat the guy standing next to you with it into a bloody
grease-smear on the pizza-parlor floor...moments later the police hall you
away...all the while, that twangy music never leaves your head man...IT
NEVER LEAVES YOUR HEAD!!
Indeed...pac-man is the bombinist.

stay in shape somehow other than that, I break out my NES every now and hten, and
return to blissful nostalgia. ____________________ The perfect mind is like a mirror. It grasps nothing. It expects nothing.

I used to play Age of Empires 2 online... that was a good game.
They're making an online installement for armored core. Nothing like
building your own giant death robot and blowing a total stranger to
smitherines. ____________________ "Be neither a master nor a slave to pudding, for there is a time to gather,

Grendel, a cracked version won't play online, but LAN play is still
awsome.
anybody here play Galactic Battlegrounds? It's the Swar Wars version of
AOE. Nothing beats walking a horde of AT-AT's into a jungan village and
stomping the slop out of them.

Xaoswolf: I know it works over the internet with other cracked games. But
from what you say I guess it won't work with non crakced servers.
In other vwords I need a cracked server to play online, or I could of
course set up my own =P
I have 3 computers here so where's the problem with that =D |
