Sin, if this was the inquisition, you would be burning for something you
didnīt do.
But you have not only made original statements that were mean and petty and
spiteful, you came back on and made a couple more. A pet is never JUST a
pet, much like a human is never just a lump of carbon.
So, next time, put a little less effort into your make-up, and a little
more thought into what you are saying, and then maybe people wonīt think of

It may be "just a rat" but that rat meant more to me than you will mean to
anyone in your fucking wasted life.
If you donīt give a shit about my rat, big fucking deal! But if you think
anybody is going to let you pop in and out and smugly start shit and make
light of a sad situation for no reason with ANYBODY here, youīre dead
fucking wrong.
You still donīt have any excuses, any explanations, or anything at all.

opinions, and I love it when people stir things up, not fling shit.
I donīt wanna get along, I donīt have to play nice. I get along and play
nice with people that deserve it. I donīt coddle imbeciles and I donīt
turn the other cheek to anything. Her comment about my pet WAS bad taste,
and a deliberate cheap shot, and if she wasnīt such an infectious recurring
case of bitch-sores, she wouldnīt have to apologise for anything. Sheīs
been around and done this shit before, and I reacted as sharpley as I did
because it was a direct hit on myself without any sort of provocation.
Just for the hell of it. Play nice hell, play fair and Iīll consider it,
but itīs unlikely.
Ironboots, I value your opinions and peaceable stance, and it doesnīt

Darlinī if people could get past the notion that theyīre special īcause
they have thumbs weīd be a happier species.
And the world would be better off.
Humans are agressive by nature, and I donīt deny that part of myself. Iīm
agressive...it allowed us to adapt and survive impossible odds and get to
where we are today (monkeys with keyboards).
But somewhere along the way we felt more than just adaptable, but superior
in every way. With great power comes great responsibility, and we live in
a generation where resposibility is for those who arenīt slippery and slimy
enough to get out of the mess theyīve made.

I don't have a clue how I missed this either, but as far as anyone thinking
that an animal is "just" an animal...well they can kindly just piss the
fuck off. *sweet smile*
Between my husband and I we've had several members of the rodent family as
family members...rats, guinea-pigs, gerbils and hamsters. When our little
Tanis (a dwarf hamster) died about two years ago, we sat up with her
holding her, telling her how much we love her. The whole time crying our
eyes out, and I still cry when I think about how hard her breathing was at
the end. She didn't want to pass while we were sitting there holding her,
so after we finally managed to fall asleep...she let herself pass on at
that point. When we woke up she was gone. She's buried under the willow
tree in the back yard and dammit I've managed to start crying while I'm
sitting here typing this. So fuck anyone who wants to say any animal other
than a human animal is "just an animal". Those sorts of people are just
shitty little assholes and nothing more as far as I can see. ____________________

Wow i cant think of anything to say that hasnt already been said but i want
to chip in mine anyhoo...
i wish i was cool enough to start a whole forum about how much i hate
people who didnt do anything to me and who are actually good people. i
wish i was wearing enough black to do that. hopefully once my hair is
black and i get some new eyeliner, ill be cool enough to be thoughtless and
cruel.

Okay...I agree with 90% of the posts here - despite my idleness in Shmeng,
I recall not seeing any posts that're judging if you are Goth or not. Sure
some stuff here can be considered "Goth", but this site wasn't intended to
rate how "Gothy" someone is. And from my understanding, people of all
types are welcome here...assuming they anger not the proper authorities.
Anyway...getting that out of the way...I LIVE IN A BUCKET AND WISH NOT FOR

Everyone's already said everything I think about the pets thing - I'd be
heartbroken if my dog died and I cried my eyes out over my hamster. Pets
are really fucking special, and I'm sorry this forum has brought up painful
stuff for you Bettie.
As for what Sin said, that was a really fucking cheap shot. That's my
opinion summed up nicely.

I find it quite amusing, yet sad that people go as far as saying an object
is "just an object." It reminds me of the time when someone says that
animals cannot reason. For one, I respectfully disagree with that - a
mother wolf shields her cubs, a guard dog is territorial, etc. In a sense,
it can be called instinct, but why doubt that animals have feelings...like
humans? If animals are so irrational, I'm afraid I cannot consider humans
anymore rational.
While I agree with freedom of speech, I disagree with outright rude rants
made by insecure individuals. On top of that, you easily styled Bettie's
rat as "just a rat." I dislike bringing this up to you but:
It was not just a rat.
Bettie's rat was her rat and she loved her rat very much. The rat was not
"just a rat"; the rat had feelings, a life of it's own, and many other
things. Ergo, it's too simple to say the rat was "just a rat" - it was not
"just a rat."
Come to think of it, despite my philosophical share of weed, I would not
burn you at the stake like they did in the Inquisition, Sin. In fact, you
are too insignificant to hate.
