How many Shmeng women are moms or have been through momhood (ie pregnancy
including having aborted, miscarried, stillbirthed, live birth to adoption,
and live birth to raising the child)? It's a good time to find out since we
have had the kindergothen population boom within the last few years and a
very recent one. You can also choose to post any tips, tricks, or coping
skills here.
At Shmeng you don't have to be mom. You get to be woman. But here's your
chance to point out the fact that you bust your ass every day and you've
got the stretch marks to prove it. Oh, and some of you are lucky and didn't
get them externally. You can post too.

I'm not a Mom, but I'm curious to see who all is.
Yes, I know, me coming on to not out myself as a mother is not a horrendous
shock, however it's hard not to comment when Shmeng is kicking so much
ass!

I'm a mommy, and I'm proud of it!
BTW - the kindergothen announced the other day that she does not like
Christmas, she likes Happy Halloween. And that she thinks Santa Claus is
scarey.
Coping skills - remember that your child is just another human being -
however exhausting or frustrating the role you play in its life is - never
lose sight of that fact. Helps immensely - children need basic courtesy
and respect, too.

I'm a mommy, and it's the coolest thing ever! I can't even myslef not being
mommy to a little blond pirate. I can stress how piss-your-pants exciting
it is to be held up at sword point for pancakes. She also likes to yell
"Rock it!" and turn her car seat into her own personal mosh pit whenever
good music is playing, too. Stuff like AC/DC, Pantera, Rob Zombie, Slayer,
or anything else with a good riff and a few solos.
Coping skills, beyond what Schiz already said...well, Eva has the ability
to bring me out of any foul rage by walking up to me, patting me on the
back, and saying "It's okay, mommy." It makes me stop, think, and realize
that yeah, it really is okay.

Yes, children are good at turning the whole mother thing back on you - my
girl stands up for me when I get into fights - "Be nice to my friend the
Mommy!" - and asks me if I want to blow my nose when I've been crying
(because we all know blowing our nose makes everything a little better.)
