Tomorrow...
I send a copy of my novel to Llewellyn publishing. they don't offer
advances... but they offer a stunning 10-15% of retail gross sales... I
believe this is my last chance to get my first novel published first...
YEs, I can probably get it published after I write my next one... but I
would like to sell them in chronological order, ya know?
sooo... if everyone would prey, meditate, send energy, do ritual... what
ever your people do... to get this sold...
I am so nervous about this, sitting here watching it print out... I feel...
nauseous... ____________________ The earth turns on a tilted axis - just doing the best it can.

Feral, as somebody who is fairly active in the occult community in Sodom
and Gomorrah (the latter being where Llewellyn is based) I know a few
people who have attempted to publish with Llewellyn and/or deal with them
on a regular basis. I have good news and bad news:
The bad news: Llewellyn is a shitty publisher that will likely jerk yoo
around trying to publish a poorly edited book that will be marketed to
junior highschool kids before fucking yoo over on sales. (also be sure to
read the fine print and make sure they don't own the rights to whatever yoo
send to them)
The good news: It is unlikely that they will pick yoo up as that they will
typically only publish novels if they are written by an author who has
already written a few peieces of nonfiction for them.
My advice: If yor not interested in POD such as Lulu (which, unless yoo've
already made a name for yorself, can acutally be MORE profitable) there are
a few publishers that will be more liekly to pick yoo up and treat yoo and
yor work with a bit mroe respect. If yoo can give mee a little more
information about the book, I might be able to ask around and reccomend a
publisher that would be a good bet. ____________________

Good luck to you.
Oh, and I look forward to going out and preying on people for you. Or did
you mean you wanted us to pray? I'm not mocking your misspelling. I think
it was one of those funny typos that should be put into a hall of fame or
something. ____________________ "People always say what we are looking for is a meaning for life…I don't

How long does it take you to read a book?
Now think on this...
your company publishes 100 titles a year... yet, you recieve 1200-10,000
manuscripts a year
you have assistants that read them first and screen. Then he brings it to
you... so you are are reading 200-500 books a year... responding to
queries, talking to the printer, layout, agents and writers... most of the
time you are readingg at home while you taking care of paper work at the
office...
as with any quality product... it is necessary for time to be taken ...I am
fine with it ____________________ The earth turns on a tilted axis - just doing the best it can.
