This one goes out to Meranda Jade, but it's also a suggestion to anyone who
is looking for good erotic fiction. Meranda suggested the Kushiel's Dart
series, by Jacqueline Carey, and so far they have been really really good.
I'm about halfway through the first book and there is a quality to
Jacqueline's story telling that really catches the mind and holds it
strong. And of course, once you get to the eros end of things, the scenes
are short, succinct, and incredibly powerful.
Meranda, You rock. And of course, sheer jealousy at this artist's skill is
forcing me to write a few more pages of Toy Dolls

I loved that series. I found the writing just got better as the story
continued. I would curl up with them in the evening and get lost until four
in the morning. The writing is so lush and rich without being over done. Mj
has it right on. Read this series!

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll probably run downstairs to the book store
during my lunch break and see if they have them there.

Heh, thanks Shade. I'm glad you're liking them. They're one of the series
that I find myself re-reading over and over. I've even thought about
getting the rose on the cover as my first tattoo, if I ever get one. There
was just something in these books that I really, really identified with.

Wow. Thanks everyone involved for this suggestion and a big thanks to Shade
for posting it. We should post book suggestions more often around here!
I'm in love with this book. I'm 3/4 the way through and I can't put it
down, all in 3 days. I'm going to go order the next one in the serious
monday so I'll hopefully have it by the time I finish the first considering
I'll be busy with two photoshoots soon.
