No no! I don't want either of them to be sushi! They both are lovely
guys. Very kind to me. I couldn't deal with having to choose between who
to cheer on! *Cries* ____________________ "People always say what we are looking for is a meaning for life…I don't

So, should a Squid vs Dolo death match be added to the list of possible
activities? Callei, know of any places that would make a good arena for a
fight like this? I assume it's going to get messy, so we don't really want
to have it anywhere we'd have to pay a damage fee... ____________________

My god. If you've ever seen a New Orleans Motel 6, you'll know why the
prices are nice. I think i need to go vomit somewhere until my bowels
reverse-prolapse. ____________________ Make way for the bad guy! |

Well, after much urging from Callei, she at least squeezed a promise out of
me that I would TRY to make it...but don't hold your breath
If it's in the summertime I would stand a higher chance of going, but
anything from late august on is a blackout period at work for me
(backtoschool/halloween season), and then there is the whole money issue,
I"m not sure that even a year from now would give me time to set aside the
moolah for it. Maybe I'll actually TRY to save my holiday bonus' this year
(ya right! free money!)
It'd be interesting, I have to admit that, but then again I'm MUCH more at
ease when nobody can see me ;P ____________________ Trapped in time. Surrounded by evil. Low on gas. |

Well, there's that, my massive privacy issues, getting my husband to come
with me (won't go without! we have implants...), and the fact that I'm
very...very...very hard to share space with (ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONGING TO
ME!)
..and well, I'm just not sure I"m ready to give up my hermit existence... ____________________ Trapped in time. Surrounded by evil. Low on gas. |

Do you know what makes this site different from all the others I belong to?
We are talking about a Shmeng party to be held NEXT YEAR, and most likely
it WILL happen.
As for me, I'll start saving right now. But, hey, make it a couple of days
long: Madrid-New Orleans is cheaper via NY (I could stay there for a while
and visit that city), and all four tickets (Madrid-NY, NY-NO, NO-NY and
NY-Madrid would just cost me... Well... 11 hour flight across the
atlantic... jet-lag... and around 2,750 USD. So you'd better make it worth
it! And stop complaining about money issues, if I can make it, you can make
it.

Arthegarn, It's going to be a weekend-long thing... and we're looking for a
nice hotel that's not terribly expensive that we can suggest to everyone,
so we can all stay at the same place... that way we'll all be together for
the whole weekend. Not sure if New Orleans is ready for that large a
concentration of Shmenginess, but it will just have to cope, eh? Glad
you're coming.. ____________________

Blood will be shed...beer will be drunk...wackiness will insue.
Or we could just get happy and distracted by all the pretty ladies
about...but naaaaah!
Anyhow...I'm itchin' to go, count me in, in any I can be!

If it's in late June of 2004, I can probably make it. I'd most likely be
driving from Tacoma, Washington...this is why a party is Oregon sounded the
most appealing. How many Shmenglings are there here on the westcoast? A
poll would be a good indicator, although people can vote more than once.
It's worth a try and we can figure it out. Any chance we could get a bunch
together over here say in Oregon or B.C.? If any of you need help planning,
count me in. I think this sounds kickass. New Orleans + Shmeng Party = a
bunch of sweaty goths. This'll be a blast. |

Oh shit ok so I am definetly gonna go cause I can drive to New Orleans in
hmmm about 7 to 8 hours and thats speeding but alot cheaper than flying but
then there is paying to park which is expensive or it was during Mardi
Gras. The Hotel prices are a bit steep but I am sure some people can room
together and save some money. Ok whos roomin with me, you have to be able
to stay up late and drink way to much booze, must be mentally insane, gotta
love fighting, also must make an ass of yourself in public. ____________________ Guns are good, Guns are great...Kill the people that you hate! |
