Oh wow... I just got around to watching it... and I laughed so hard, I
almost threw up.
"You're going to HELL.... BIITCH!" BWAHAHAHA!!!
I personally think the water ballooning was perfectly justified... and
those people deserved to be laughed at, too. But then, baiting pushy
Christians is a local sport, here.

Meh. *shrugs* I'm still not convinced that water ballooning was the best
choice of action. Maybe because I've been lucky in that the only Jehovah's
witnesses I've come across were little old ladies who left after a polite
explanation, and admittedly a brief debate, that I wasn't interested. I
couldn't really imagine water-ballooning them!

I haven't really gotten many religious solicitors over the years, but I do
remember a couple showed up once while I was quite visibly emotionally
upset, and didn't even have the grace to say "oh, this doesn't look like a
good time for you, can we come back later?" Instead, they launched into
their routine...
That's the thing... I used to be psycho-religious... I've taken evangelism
classes (and hated them, but that's another story), and I know how this
mind works... they don't care about the individual (although they claim to)
but rather they care about mass-planting "seeds"... they don't have to be
polite or sensitive, because "the Spirit" will fix everything... as long as
they do their Christian duty and plant that goddamned seed, braving all no
trespassing signs, signs of emotional distress, and water balloons... the
situation or person they are dealing with comes a far second to their
mission...
Not saying all religious solicitors are the same... there may be some that
are cut out of different cloth... and perhaps they breed 'em different in
Wales... here in America, it's common for them to be incredibly rude and
pushy... my, what a wonderful way to represent your God! ____________________ "You can tell by the scars on my arms and the cracks in my hips and the

The LDS and RLDS church national headquarters are across teh street from
each other in independence missouri...I lived 2 blocks from them...
religious solicitors are... an aggravation that anger me a great deal...
because they will not leave it well enough alone... ever... once a week for
4 years, they came to my fucking door... the two in the movie... are lucky
that it wasn't my door |

Eh, the Mormons never bothered me. The sanctimonious Baptists are the ones
that really grate on my nerves. With Mormons, I usually tell them that I
grew up in Utah, went to the Temple with a Mormon youth group once (which
really impresses them), and went to school with Shawn Bradley. That usually
gets them talking about basket ball instead of religion and it all stays
friendly and they go away happy.
Give me Mormons over Baptists any day.

Haven't experienced that P-F, but I have been one of those kids that goes
out for the Pentecostal church. I felt really bad about doing it too. I
didn't want to bother people and I didn't want anyone who had another
religious belief to have their faith called into question. I also didn't
want to disturb people who wanted to be left alone. We were trying to get
their kids to go to our kids' church program. I figured that if they were
interested they'd find out for themselves and come over. It's not like they
didn't have a phone book. ____________________ "People always say what we are looking for is a meaning for life…I don't

it's like if you had people who understand only English, and some others
who only understand French, and others who only understand Swahili or some
thing all mixed together in a crowd, and the person speaking only spoke
Chineese. If the person speaking were to speak in tongues every one in the
crowd would hear the speaker in the language they understood. |

in the book...when the apostles were touched by teh flames... adn spoke in
tongues....
person a- from sumeria; heard sumerian
person b- a greek; heard it in greek
person c- hatian creole; heard creole
person d- romani; heard in thari
Today's churches say that speaking in tongues is a giberish inspired by
god... when the miracle of tongues was the ability to be understood by
everyone... |

Xaoswolf has inspired mee to being dpreading the word of Lord Xenu. I'd
like the knock on the doors of some Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, and
Scientologists and wake the up ...to the good news ...which is bad ____________________
