| Surprisingly, I think his apology was in keeping with his personality, and
that it was heartfelt. He can't help being abrasive, that's just how he is.
I will say, I am pleased to see he made an effort there. We can't just
change his core personality here. And just because his personality rubs us
the wrong way, doesn't mean we have to disregard when he is trying. Which I
think he was. ____________________

Litho.If you are gonna be mean,be creative.And make your "critisism"

Feral:If you came off as fat and ugly and appreciative of the willingness
to comment on your art in the gallery,and easy going..and could land your
ass at the assumption that he was not trying to be mean right off the

From reading this forum I've come to two conclusions:
(1) No one finds anything Shmooth says funny. At least not in the way he
claims he intends it to be.
(2) He's not out to get laughs, he's just trolling. Surely if you were out
to get laughs, and no one liked your style of comedy you'd move on? If you
have to explain time and again - no that was a joke, honest - then maybe
you should find an audience who are going to be appreciative, and not just
bored. ____________________

I've learned something from you, you know that? It's imperative I word
things UNBELIEVABLY correct or else you will find my logical faults, and as
you put it so gracefully, "analy rape them". So without further adou....
1. Sorry I said "funny guy". You're right smhooth, it's the comedy not the
comedian, he is merely a vessel for a good joke, or a bad one. I'm sure he
didn't even work on it. He was taught to be funny, just like jiujitsu, at a
dojo of comedy, and it's just that skillfull training coming out when he's
delivering a bit.
2. I guess I've failed to make it obvious enough to you, so what the hell,
caps is alway a good last resort....YOU DIDN'T HURT ME SHMOOTH. YOU REALLY
DON'T AFFECT ME VERY MUCH AT ALL, AND NOT AT ALL WHEN I LEAVE THE P.C. I

I agree with Meranda. I know I've kind of come in the middle of this whole
mess, but reading it over is painfully repetetive. Shmooth posts some long
post that frankly, I find very difficult to follow, but oh well. Mainly
saying abrasive things, and saying it's all just jokes. But the thing is,
no one finds it funny. OK.
Well, what to do about it? Obviously he's not going to change just because
someone's trying to convince him to. No matter how logical you feel your
argument is. And he's not going to leave unless kicked off by Devin.
I've been known to troll-bait myself, but somehow this doesn't inspire me.
There really seems to be nothing to say but, you're not funny, you're
repetetive, and your posts are really unclear. And so what.
There's only so many times you can post that before the flamers get as
boring as the troll. If he even is a troll. And not just a vaguely
irritating person.
But then again, I missed the whole beginning of this. It kind of sounds
like he started out with something a bit more controversial, and this is
just the last drawn out feedback from that incedent.

Nope, Shmooth, no one's compared me to Dory, but I can see how it fits,
but not here. I'm actually quite absent-minded, but at least I can be
articulate, when I pust my mind to it.
