*shuffles into the thread*
I've always strongly disliked punk music, just don't like it. Always say
about it being relativly talentless. Its all in the lyrics (which they sort
of yell since they can't sing)
but
I like Anti-Flag >________>
for some reason. |

I actually do like some country music, especaily Rascal Flatts. and I like
the Backstreet Boys, Anthony Hamilton, *blushes* Miriah Carey and Celine
Dion. and the Emo kid in me likes Keane, Bright Eyes, Modest Mouse and the
Scissor Sisters. and I really do like musicals
but the worst i think besides the Country music is my love of the songs
from Disney movies. ____________________

And right you lot are to feel guilty :p
I have always had a severe soft spot for the Pet Shop Boys, I really like a
few of the first album by Savage Garden, and for some ungodly reason I
really like the Black Eyed Peas' 'Don't funk with my heart'.
Thats enough for now. ____________________ Eritis sicut Deus scientes bonum et malum.

Um, I listen to mp3's of wax cylinder recordings from 1895, and enjoy my cd
of re-recordings of Titanic's White Star Line Orchestra. And I don't mean
Titanic the movie, I mean the actual playlist the WSLO played while on the
voyage.
I almost weep when I hear live bagpipes.
And I like Dean Martin. A lot.

Barry Manilow... he has a song called Mandy and it is so touching and I
feel connected to it.
I also am a sucker for anything with a polka like beat. I love to
bounce.
Just call me a perky goth. ____________________ "People always say what we are looking for is a meaning for life…I don't

First of all, I dont think anybody dislike Blondie. The Go-Gos are a
different matter. I like them but then I'm weird that way.
My guilty little secret is stuff I know is crap. Atari Teenage Riot is
pretty fucking horrible but throw Lords of Acid on their too.
I also like late 50s/early 60s crap because as a kid I watched too many
Stephen King and David Lynch movies and that crap always came off as really
sinister to mee. ____________________

I liked the Backstreet Boys quite a lot in middle school, however I can't
say that I still listen to them. I'm sure I still know all the words to
their songs. If a Backstreet Boys song were to come on my playlist through
some sort of phenomenon, I wouldn't be that terribly upset. ____________________

OMG! PILLOWS!!
i love The Pillows XD, they did all the music for FLCL, which is an anime
for those who don't know. they're a awesome fun band yay!
A friend of mine at work and I were talking the other day and she mentioned
about a guilty music pleasure that she loves Backstreet Boys. She even has
a tattoo that means.. Backstreet Boys live forever or something like that.
she doesn't really tell many people that though cus otherwise she is
totally punk/metalhead type.

My gay side also likes The Gorillaz, most techno (I think I might be a
closet raver goth), Madonna, Enya, Didio, umm.. that "ditta diddo'' song
from the early 90's late 80's, Queen, many more guilty pleasures I can't
think of right now... ____________________ co-worker: "Your gay!?"

Because these are the types of music that people would stereotypically be
ashamed of. It makes for conversation. After all, I thought this was a
message board where people shared thoughts, opinions and preferences and
things of that nature. Forgive me if I was wrong. I'll just stop talking
then? ____________________
