Rent
Now, I know people do not expect someone like me to be into musicals and te stage in general, but I am. This film was well written and well acted. There are several muical numbers that (it doesn't matter who you are) you will find yourself singing.
I will admit, perhaps, that I am a bit biased, as two of the characters remind me a great deal of myself. It covers a year in the life of a group of friends, several of whom have aids. One is an amateur film maker, one is a musician... a bisexual and her lesbian lawyer, a gay man and his drag queen lover. There is something for everyone in this film...
One of the most important songs in the film is entitled "La Vie Boheme." The life bohemian... and as I strive to live that life, it touched me a great deal. If you can keep from tearing up at the end of the documentary at the end of the movie... you have no heart.
I certainly recommend EVERYONE see this film. Added: Monday, April 10, 2006 Reviewer: Feral Score: Related Link: Rent Hits: 3295
