Vulgar
Well now, "Vulgar" was a genuinely sick movie. Try mixing "Deliverance" with "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and top it off with a little bit of clown and you'll have this movie. The only part that seemed to make it suffer was the classic case of double climax. Nearly 15 minutes into it comes the first climax which seems to make most of the film rather dull, until his past resurfaces, of course. It was executive produced by Kevin Smith, who is also in the movie with the kid who plays Jay of "Jay and Silent Bob" fame. Also steaming up from Kevin Smith's past is the main character (Flappy the Clown/ Vulgar the Clown) who is played by the same main Character who was in Clerks.
If you're into movies with the whole "independant Film" feel (such as unnatural but emotional lighting, lots of silhouettes, and very mean actors) you'll probably get a kick out of this one. There is definitely a notable lack in the concetration that should have been spent on the audio redubbing.
Time must have been the initial cause of why the sound effects and voices failed to be on cue. But believe me, this is more than totally made up for in the killer jazzy musical score.
if you have free time and a couple of bucks to dish out- hit it. You might come out a bit nautious, but at least you'lll get to see a clown in drag. 7 out of 10 clown noses.
