| Dream Analysis: plez decyper this anyone |

ok.. me and a really good friend of mine ( a girl) were walkimg around the area and shooting all the people we knew (our other friends) and when we finally killed everone
we looked at each other and gave the other a look like were done and we knew it every other kid in the area was now dead. then i raised my gun to shoot her but i wake up before i squeeze the trigger. 6 mounths later i fall in love with her, but she has a boyfriend.
why couldn't i kill her too? and should i fell this way about her while i ask these questions? and what about her feelings? is there a way to find out if she likes me without asking anyone directly? plez help me i feel lost on this one.

Did you want to shoot her, or was it just some sort of logical solution that had to be? In the dream, was she gearing up to shoot you? Do you remember how you felt? Sometimes the emotions, or lack thereof, can be a hint in deciphering meaning.

Often in dreams I've had that require shooting, killing, or being killed, are rooted in a control issue. Whether that is lack therof (not being able to control actions or stop surrounding events from occuring) or an exceptional amount (being able to determine the fates of others including yourself). It seems to me through this breif description that you desire control, but can't have it. You can't shoot her, you can't shoot her boyfriend, hence you have no control even tho shooting either person or those around you would not change events. It's frusteration, fallibility, and a "dust on the wind" feeling your brain is deciphering. You'll be ok, just wait for her to get dumped and catch that shiz on the rebound.

I was confused when I said "Umm...???", because I had thought you meant that the entire thing had been a dream. In other words, I thought that when you fell in love with her six months later, that that had been part of the dream as well.
Now that I understand that that part is what happened to you and that you were remembering this dream from six months ago, I'm starting to think of a few things it might mean.
My first idea is that it might mean that you were already in love with her on a subconscious level, and that by killing off everyone else in the dream except for you and she, that your subconscious was trying to tell you that you had very strong feelings for her already at that time.
The fact that she now has a boyfriend, is just something that life has dealt along the way. It doesn't mean that she will always be with the boyfriend, and so you may want to continue being friends with her and see how things progress. She may be completely unaware of your feelings, but without asking her directly, it might be a really long time before you would get an answer on that or you may never get an answer at all on that.
I wouldn't recommend telling her about your dream outright right off the bat, but you could say you had a dream about her and you being together. Then maybe say something like, so what do you think about that? She may laugh it off or she might say I think maybe it means something, and it might lead in to a way to see if she has feelings for you as well.

I don't think I've ever met a truly SANE girl with a boyfriend in jail, and to me that isn't a red flag, it's "I CLAIM THIS GIRL IN THE NAME OF STUPIDITY*!!!" I'm speaking general terms, of the general public I've met, and this is bad. Be her friend if you must, but stay the hell away from her in relationship sense. You don't need the drama, baggage, and angst she's gonna wring from you. Go find someone whos got enough sense to stay away from criminals. |
