Rant
In October / November time I dated a guy called Frost. Yes, that was a nickname. Yes, he chose it himself. No, it didn't make him in the least bit cooler, but at the time I was too smitten to see that. So I went out with him and was as happy as anything for, ooh, about a week. He was older than me, and tall with long black hair. Lovely. Then I found out a bit more about him, oh fuck was I not ready for that! It turns out that the delectable Frost had a bit of a possession problem, or so he claimed. Apparently he was a demon and had spirits possessing him regularly. This would be about the time I said "bye-bye" and moved on to pastures greener. Unfortunately HE didn't move on. While my friend and I were in the pub, he and his groupies were sat a few tables over throwing "energy balls" at one another. Now this would be all well and good, if they weren't faking, and obviously faking at that. They may as well have grabbed a marker pen and written LOOK AT ME across their foreheads.

So, Jamie, Lee and I had a good laugh at their expense. We were snobby, elitist bitches and were having a whale of a time doing so, not caring that they could hear our sarcastic comments all too clearly. One of the members of the group, a young girl who I was quite good friends with came and sat with us for a while, during which time we got out of her that she didn't actually believe Frost, but her friends were part of his little cult and she hadn't wanted to be left out. We suggested that she stay with us, and let her friends make fools of themselves without dragging her down too. She said that she didn't trust Frost, and wanted to keep an eye on her friends.

Up until then I'd been laughing at him, but saw no real reason to distrust him as he didn't exactly inspire terror in those around him. His groupies were all naive children at least two years younger than him, just looking for a way to be different, or to be special and he had handed that to them on a plate. After the girl rejoined their group we heard them whispering amongst each other and giving Lee, Jamie and I glances that I think were supposed to be subtle. They then joined hands in a circle and started having epileptic fits. Well, they were vibrating and growling. It was similar.

The girl came back over later on when the groupies had dissipated and explained what was going on; they had decided that Jamie, Lee and I were "evil spirits" and that they needed protection from us. They had also been quite mean to her, telling her that she couldn't be a part of their cuvant (sic) anymore, as she'd talked to us. By that time another of my friends was in the pub, and he had known Frost for a few years. I asked if there was any real reason I should be wary of the guy. He told me that once, when playing in LazerZone he had been shooting Frost when the guy turned round and screamed at him to fuck off. He had protested, reminding Frost it was just a game, and shot him again in fun. Frost slammed him against the wall and started choking him. Why he didn't tell me this BEFORE I started dating the psychopath is anyone's guess.

For a while nothing was heard from him, and his groupies disbanded, many of them rather embarrassed for associating with him to begin with. Recently however he's been back and is on top form. His recent activities have covered announcing to the whole pub that he has bonded with Lucifer and is growing wings and horns, telling everyone who will listen that Jamie has no magickal ability (this is a guy who was raised Pagan and definitely DOES know his shit) and that though he may be a seer, he won't be able to see his own downfall, which Frost is planning on bringing about, and (this one being both the best, and the most disturbing) Frost says that in every human incarnation of his he has destroyed a member of Jamie's order (N.B: Jamie isn't even part of a coven, no orderliness going on there) and now it's down to just me and Jamie, and he has to destroy at least one of us before we destroy him.

Oh yes, and he walked up to my current boyfriend and said, "Pop her cherry, she needs it." Funnily enough, I'm not best amused. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I / we should handle the situation?

Well, as much as this might seem like over-reacting, you should probably file a police report or something, just saying that he is harassing you and your friend and 'threatening to destroy' one of the two of you. He's obviously a nutcase and needs some reality pounded into his ass. A night in jail might help him out in that situation.
I used to know a guy who ran a cult. That was probably the worst year of my life.. Best bet is to just keep clear of him, if anything at all.

I personally think he has psychological issues along with a need for attention. It's obvious that he's insecure and needs to live in his own fantasies to make himself seem "superior." I'm not saying that this stuff is impossible, but I do have a line that I draw before I say I have to see it to believe it.

Seriously, though. He needs some psychological help. I'd file a police report too if it becomes far-fetched.

Blessings,
Anya

definetely file a police report, and if he gets worse, you should seriously think about a restraining order as well. also, if he ever were to try destroying you physically, instead of pretending to do magic, do you know any self defense, or at least have some pepper spray or mace?

Buy some drugs, wipe down the bag carfully with an astringent. Plant drugs in his pocket. Go to first police officer that you see and tell them that he offered you drugs.
Walk away.
Or laugh at him really hard everytime you see him til he does something stupid like get to close to you or yells at you or something, then get the police involved. Its best to have witnesses, the kind that dont know you or him.
giggle you can always try some holy water and see if he is really in league with the devil....

You say he calls himself Frost. Does he listen to Satyricon? If so I would say his a plain scam. Even ripping of the nick Satyricons drummer uses. Not that it makes him less disturbed, but might be a nice fact to have if you want to knock him down a few steps mentaly.
And he will probably quit after a while if you just plain ignore him. If not, or he becomes physically threatening, it's time for that police report.

Anyway, good luck, and enjoy yourself

I s'pose that, on the plus side, this frees up the notion that Wales is an idiot-free land. Where do these wastes of skin come from... is it mercury levels in the water or something...???

I was once briefly harassed by one of these genetic dead-ends myself (complete with being "possessed" more often than Linda Blair), although thankfully I never got the impression that there was an amorous angle to the unwanted attention. I've found that although they are capable of devoting enormous reserves of time and energy in schemes to embarrass themselves or deface public property that would be better spent on some general self-improvement project, they tend to have the attention span of a retarded goldfish. I'm sure that in four to six month's time, Frosty the Drollman will pack up his bag of delusions and find someone else to be spooky at if he doesn't get a big enough of a reaction from you. Just try to minimise your contact with the attention whore and try not to worry about it too much. As a general rule, they make a lot of noise and cause a tremendous amount of irritation and embarrassment on their behalf, but they lack the "energy balls" to constitute a real threat to your person.

Take self defense classes, keep in good shape, get some pepper spray... Stay clear of this dude, cuz like everyone else is saying, he obviously has some psychological issues/lives in his delusions. If he keeps pursuing the matter and it begins to get out of hand, file a police report. Don't let this guy get to you, that's his main goal, but be ready in case he tries anything.

If you are really bored, have lots of time on your hands, and a few friends willing to help...

You could always do the "rose" revenge. You dont have to use roses you can use anything, cabbage, cupie dolls, magic cards (this one sorta backfired in that the victom made a few thousand selling the cards), or womens cheap underwear.

You leave roses for him everywhere he goes. One waiting for him when he gets up in the morning, one in his bag when he leaves it unattened for a few minutes, one on his plate at a restraunt, one in the hands of a new "follower", in the hands of his old followers, waiting for him at places that he always goes and so on.
If he is actually unstable this could push him over the edge. If he thinks that he is possessed by the devil he may even think that the devil is trying to talk to him.

I belive in being (giggle) proactive with the this kind of thing. Why should he get to have all the fun? If you ignore him eventually he will go bother someone else, but that just passes the problem on to someone else who may not have the emotional stability to deal with it.

I have never met anyone possessed by the devil, only one's that are possessed by thier own personal demons. If no one steps in, he could get worse and there will (almost inevitably) some more damage to the young and foolish, kids lead a stray and put off of old religions because of his peculiarities.

It could even escalate to real damage. Most likely to the girls and most likely rape. The delusional and desperate for power are the most likely to try to get power through rape. That of course assumes that he is that demented, self hating, and ready to be a real criminal.

I don't think he sounds crazy enough to hurt anybody. Telling her to snatch up pepper spray and do defense classes is all well and good, but it's honestly more of an "every girl" plan of action; To protect from "real" predators and wack jobs. Energy balls, "circles of protection", "I'm a guy who lives through the ages in different bodies and kills people"; these are the hall marks of my 7th grade experience. He's a loser, a dumb whiny goff dork, and most of all, al little overeactive bitch who tries to throttle someone in a game of lasertag. He wont hurt you, and he wont try. He craves Attention, not your soul, and I'm thinking he's just jealous and lonely.

p.s., if for some reason you do want protection (sorry for the wordage and insults people, I'm angry and hung over), fuck this mace and pepper spray shit and buy real protection. A smith and wesson model 67 chief special .38 special snub nosed revolver. Pepper spray is a dinky piece of shit that wont even help if he turns his head, and often times fails anyway when involved with nuts and pissed off rapists. But the cool mettalic "chink" of a double action revolver shuts people the fuck up. Not to mention stops them in there god damned tracks. I'm the proud owner of an 8.5 inch barreled ruger super redhawk .44 magnum, that I carry in a bandolier, and nothing says "fuck you you cocksucking piece of dog shit" like that hunk of steel. Blow the douche bags kneecaps off, or at least his balls if he tries something. Bitchin...

He'd stop saying stupid shit if you cut out his tongue...and he'd stop doing stupid things if you took out the front part of his brain...it's obvious he doesn't use it.

Man I loathe people like that.

Don't let it happen. If you have the strength and patience to totally ignore it...good on ya'

I'd break his legs, or barring that, cute up to some giant scotsman and get him to do it for you.

If it gets down to blood and tacks though, one of two things could happen. He could be a real psycho and not just a whiney witch fritter...which means he won't be easy to take down and could seriously hurt someone without much provocation. In that instance, call the damn cops...or carry a board with nails in it.
If he's a witch fritter...pack up with some people and humilate the unholy shit out of him, break his spirit and his heart...then laugh at him...or spit on him...or both! Both is good.

rr...just hearing about this gets my blood all hatey.

I think you've got lots of good advice. I say if he keeps making an issue of it, call the cops, you've at least got him on harressment.

Are you good friends with the barkeep/pub owner? If so you might mention to he/she/it that you think this guy is an unstable psycopath who might well have one to many one night and fuck up his pub, that might be grounds to keep him off the premises anyway.

However, in the long run I think the best thing you can do is be happy, be good to yourself, love your current parmour deeply, and glow. All the happy, good, fuzzy glowing is bound to piss off a person who feels that the earth revolves around him. When he sees you all happy, glowly, sexy, cute, and non-codepenent he'll melt like the witch in the Wizard of Oz.

We're all sending you love vibes, so project them hard core and darken his tiny little world with a big ol flaming ball of Psychopixi love.

Well, you can always try to either contact his parental guardians and tell them he needs psychological help because he's been harrassing you, OR you can actually try and depossess his so called demon. Look up the book "Remote Depossession" by Irene Hickman. It tells you how to do it by using a hypnotic subject to scan the person from afar to look for unusual spots in their aura, and call upon the Archangel Michael or the light to remove it. It sounds like a bunch of hooey, but you can find an experienced person and have them perform the procedure and see whether theres any difference in the man. I also think you should send a letter to a local church with his first name and ask them to pray for his soul. Make sure you've told Frosty you did this. Such proactive approaches will definitely unnerve him, and if Frosty doesn't want to lose the most important thing to him- his demon- he should pipe down. As a general rule, I would think that Demons wouldn't be obvious about things because it would be in their self interest not to be discovered. If he doesn't, then he needs to get sent to the loony bin as a danger to society where they can medicate the demons away. Oh well, those are my approaches assuming that: Demons exist as more than psychological manifestations. I think he's using "possession" as an excuse to be a fuck-up, and if not, then you've got serious problems and need to help him out metaphysically speaking. Sounds like he's just got poor impulse control. Reality is as much perception as it is existence.

Get a little spritzer bottle and fill it with holy water. Every time you see him doing something bad, give him a couple of squirts and yell, "No, bad Frost, bad!" Then stick his nose in the mess he made to make sure he gets the point.
Or you could fill a tin can with some dried beans and shake it at him. He sounds like he would be a skittish type of guy.

Does this douchebag actually take himself seriously? Or even worse, do his "friends:"?! I'm sorry, I know there's a lot of pacifists here, but even if he was a "nice" kid, I'd have to beat him up in public on principal. My vote still stands with a good public pummeling and making him scream "I'm a pretty little girl" in front of his friends.

If you're more into the nitty gritty of sorrymaking, you know, "hands on wet work", there's always the promise of fun memories by liquoring him up, following (or taking, if you're crafty) him home and taking comprimsing polaroids for mom and dad's photo album. Then of course you could always mail them to his boss. Nothing says "quality employee" than an anonymous envelope full of pictures of the poor son with a fish sticking out of his pants.

DUDE...I read this and had to just say something.

I used be really good freinds with this guy back in Highschool. Anyway, he seemed pretty normal and everything(except for the fact that he was seeing a shrink.....HINT HINT). Then one night we were hanging out and he drove me home...in the parking lot of our apartment he started talking about how he was an angel reincanated and that he had "abilities" that someone taught him on the Astral Plain and that there was a group of "elders" that ran everything. So I did the first thing I always do....I just let out a little laugh and said "you're joking right"?.....He wasn't kidding...at all. That's when I started to playing around....acting like I was beleiveing it...because At that point I was pretty freaked out and I thought this might be one of those dangerous situations they war you about on TV...anyway in the end I dated his Exgirlfreind for a while and never talked to him again.....nothing really major happened even though he did start stalking his ex...but that's another story.....I hate that guy.
