You take the prize as the most inconsiderate person to park in front of my home.
Others have parked barely leaving enough room for the mail delivery person. But none before you have parked this close - requiring the mail person to make a decision to either get out of their car - or - not deliver my mail. I hope it bothers you to know that, because of you, I did not get my mail today!
Please, in the future, consider other members of your Vashon community when you feel a need to save your self a dozen or so steps to the ferry.

Note:
My roommate just moved here, and is just discovering why I complain about the people so much. This TYPEWRITTEN note was left on her windshield the other day when she parked in the ferry parking area. Someone went through a lot of trouble to figure out her name and type this petty shmeng. |

It has always amazed to what lengths people will go to to avoid talking to someone personally. You'd figure it would be easier to just say it to a persons face. Makes for a lot less misunderstandings too. Tis the cowards way out I guess. Of course I wouldn't expect much different from people on Vashon Island, they all think they are better than any one else from what I have seen.

Oh hell, I've been the victim of "notes" before. God, what is more childish than that?!
All I can think of is that :
They are afraid of my fiance
They are afraid of ME
They are R-E-T-A-R-D-E-D and childish
At our last apartment complex, there was NO designated parking. You were free to park willynilly about the place like mad, which was okay and it generally ran smoothly.
There was also a large, sappy, pollenridden tree right by our door, and to avoid it wreaking havoc on his new car, my fiance would park a few spaces down so he wouldn't be under it.
Then we get this note:
It said in a nutshell, that the spot he was parking in was FOR THEM, and they would appreciate him parking in HIS spot, because they want to park right next to their door.
It was left on his door, and we KNEW who had left it, so we took out our very ver special black stationery, black envelopes, and black pen (kidding, it was white) and wrote that if they had examined their lease apon signing, it stated that there was indeed NO reserved or assigned parking, and he is free to park where he pleases, the reason for his parking his car there, and that they were both adults and could discuss this as such instead of resorting to "childish note leaving" *ouch* and that he would be notifying the management of their "concerns".
No more notes were left :)
But NOW, some shit sucking ho-bag in our NEW apartments decided to take it apon HERSELF to make a feminist statement about my car by placing a goddamned piece of TAPE on my windshield with "THIS INSULTS WOMEN" over the spot where my bettie page air freshener was!
The bitch KNOWS what apartment I live in (we do have assigned parking in this one, hooray!) and could easily have made her stupid feminist ass up the stairs like a fucking BIG GIRL and discussed this with me in person.
I mean, HELL, if the pinups (which are not NECKED or doing anything LEWD..all are classy and CUTE) insult WOMEN, then why did I PUT THEM ON MY CAR?! Am I less of a woman for adoring last century's cuties? For not burning my bra (hey, I need that think to make me look like I have a chest! *snarl*) and rejecting makeup and all sense of style? For seeing a problem with some stupid bitch who PROBABLY has a MULLET and a MINIVAN who resorts to highschool games? And who the hell gave her permission to touch my car?!
I would have been reasonable, but she crossed the line, and I'm just HOPING she does it again, only to my face.
Damn. Just remembered that if we cause trouble we get kicked out....dammit.
Anyhoo, so poor baby didn't get their mail...boo hoo hoo. YOu can wait one more day for your welfare check, cant' you? If it was consistent and causing a hazard, fine, but please. They'll stop when you stop trying to nail their car with your door when they park too close.
I can wait for a house. Apartments suck.
