I heard someone trying to crack a joke about it earlier yesterday and I just cracked. What can POSSIBLY be humorous about this?
Those jackasses are no better than the madmen on those planes. I spent all day yesterday listening to Tom Leykis's special broadcast...he wouldn't blow anybody up, he had no music, and anyone who dared to try to crack a joke or utter a racially biased "why" to the situation was immediately taken off the air and belittled. I spent all day watching the planes hit the buildings and collapse over and over and over and over and again from different vantage points. The people falling, flying and jumping to their deaths out of desperation and insane fear.
Nothing is funny about that. Not at all.
