Yeah, I don't believe that particular commandment has anything to do with "oh my God" and the like, either. But most Christians, at least of the variety I used to deal with, get pretty squeamish with such phrases.
And whenever the Bible talks about followers of Satan, it usually just refers to your regular run-of-the-mill bad guys, not nowadays Satan-worshipper types with rituals and inverted pentacles and so on and so forth. The only people in the Bible who sacrificed children and stuff like that were the Canaanite nations who worshipped gods like Molech. And I don't think it even specified that the children were killed - maybe they were just dedicated to temple service or something. And the ancient Isrealites sacrificed animals. I don't know - I get the impression that this author never really payed much attention to the God bullshit before they "got tired" of it! If you're going to reject something, at least figure out what you're rejecting first.
