Well said Schizo. Just add a few thoughts and questions, I'd like to ask if you became Satanist because it was pop culturally the opposite of Xian? It doesn't look like you have done the research to find out much about Satanism, but that is understandable, most people who choose a religion because they feel they have to hae a religion don't bother to find out much about their new pet religion. (how many ties can I type religion without typoeing?)
I understand your outrage at having satanism labeled as the newest reason for Lacy being iced, but again, did you do your research? Are you aware that the US is ruled by a puritan Xian culture and that the very concept of Satan is enough to vilify anything that uses it? Did you know that the churches that hand out those cutesy comic book pamphlets about going to hell are damned by other churches because the damning churches say it is evil to even portray Satan? (Don't worry Bettie, I know Satanism and the Xian devil have nothing to do with each other except the name, it's the use of the name that I'm poking right now) If you choose a religion like Satanism, you are just asking for it. I'm asking for the same kind of ridicule whenever I say my religion is Heathen, and that's only slightly more than I got when I said I was Buddhist.
Just to poke this idea too. For a long time I said I had no religion. I did not call myself atheist or agnostic because those were Xian creations and I wanted to have nothing to do with that churches line of BS, then as I grew and matured I realized I had some ideas and ideals in common with Buddhists, the Hare Krishnas, Hindus and the Taoists so I caled myself Buddhist because it was the the one I had the most in common with. I still agree with much of their teachings, but I don't hold it to be a religion so much as a lifestyle. Buddhism, like Feral's Erisianism pretty much says find your way and believe in yourself. If your path is true, than you have found your own divinity. I have come to the belief that as long as a religion is a "religion" it is just a facade, once it becomes a lifestyle, it becomes a reality (Special thanks to Callei for letting me rant and rail and come to that conclusion on my own). This I believe is a logical and possible conclusion for any religion, Schizo is a perfect example of someone taking the christian faith and turning it into a lifestyle and a reality that has nothing to do with how others percieve her. She no longer needs Church or a priest to prove to her that she is still Christian, she just knows that that is the name she gives to the path she has chosen through life.

Yeah, the Bible never ever says anything about there being satanists. The whole concept is an absurd to a jew. As for not using the word "God" in vain, you and I should have a nice intesesting (for us, it would bore everyone else to death) chat about the issue, I don't think that commandment means that.
And you rock, even when you do so to put the babies to sleep
