His moustache looks oh-so-dashing while wearing a pair of chino pants of course. Chino is short for "salvador chino" or "Chinese Saviour", and the pants were part of the uniform of his devout but underground following. This cult had unsuccessfully tried to mount several operations, but failed mostly due to the lack of persistence of their timepieces, i.e. their watches tended to melt. Salvador's parents, Niloticus and Exanthematicus, were dismayed by the attention their surviving son attracted and decided to refer to their deceased son thereafter as "Pollice Grande, Spiaggia, Luna ed Uccello Decadente", or Poly Amore for short. When told about this, Salvador replied "Sculaccii prego la mia parte inferiore con la nuova pala."
