Oh, I've got the waddle already! It doesn't seem to have much to do with size or balance. I think it's more to do with tendons relaxing and things, so I can't STRUT anymore and it bothers me!
(I just had to go rescue my friends' dog, who was chewing on a TACK !!! and wouldn't let go of it!)
I've pretty much come up with a girl's name, but we can't agree on a boy's name. A girl would be Riley Gwendolen Louise. Riley is a family name, my great-great grandfather and my great-great uncle were both named Riley. Gwendolen means (among other things) new moon, and it was concieved and is due to be born on the new moon. And Louise is a family tradition. My maternal great grandmother's middle name was Louise, and every generation since has carried the name. So it's my responsibility to pass it on.
As for a boy, we are thinking of Eben or Sully or Zander (yes, Sully from Godsmack, it's kind of a joke between us, and I had a dream once that the baby was a reincarnation of Sully Erna, only he isn't dead!) But I wanted Owen, really, and he wanted of all things Memphis (he watched Gone in Sixty Seconds, and for some reason got stuck on the name). I think we'll probably settle on Eben. That's the middle name of my great uncle who was a tank commander in WW2 and was killed in France because he decided to be the look-out instead of any of his men, and stuck his head out of the top of the tank and was shot.
Naming this baby has turned out a lot harder to do than I ever thought!
