Shmengfest- MystryssRavynDarque Date Friday, April 26, 2024 - 06:28 AM PST Topic Cult What I did at ShmengFest 1. 3 things I really liked (perfect moments) I really enjoyed going on the picnic. Going to the grocery and seeing what people picked out really gave everyone an idea of what everyone is like. Food can tell a lot about a person. Do they eat healthy or do they not? Are they vegetarians or vegans or are they omnivorous? We had to take turns riding in the hot box car too, which was really funny. I didn’t mind it at all, as long as we had the frozen water bottle. We almost had the door opening and closing in sync as well. Meranda _Jade and I even climbed a tree. I have a picture of that on my camera. Watching Paris run after the ice cream truck with others in tail was hilarious. Sitting around playing “I’ve Never” was fun, especially for me, since I kept making everyone drink. We also were able to find out more about people via this game. I like finding out new stuff about people, and I love to hear stories of people’s pasts. Getting dressed up and going out to the hookah bar was very nice. I loved seeing everyone in their pretty clothes and all fancy looking. Sitting around the hookah and talking and sharing the pipe and sharing thoughts was wonderful. I was even willing to buy everyone a second hookah, but we all went back to the Bed and Breakfast instead. It was funny to see Shade and Paris sitting there with both pipes in their mouth for long periods of time. 2. 3 things I wish we had done I wish we had been able to go on the graveyard tour and the tour of the French Quarter. I wish we had been able to go more places, but unfortunately we were unable to go most places due to my age. I wish we would have had more days to spend together. There were also a couple of people I wouldn’t have minded sleeping with, but we will not get into all of that. 3. 3 things I hadn’t done before I had never played “I’ve Never” until the party, and as I said, that was fun. I had never smoked a hookah before. The coconut and rose was amazing. The sweetness and boldness of the coconut was finished will with the subtle, smooth rose flavor. The cherry and honey flavor was amazing as well, extremely sweet, but I think both hookahs went quite well with each other. I had never been in a hot tub with naked people before. That was a new one for me. Even though I didn’t get naked it wasn’t weird or anything, it just felt normal. 4. 3 things that I look forward to doing next time I look forward to seeing all of the wonderful people and hopefully more next time. I look forward to actually having the money to go again next year. I look forward to more time to spend with people if we extend the stay. I also look forward to holding the event at a different time in the year when it isn’t so hot. I know that the party was pushed back into June because of things that did not end until May was over, but I was so glad to be there in spite of the heat. 5. Strangest thing that happened I became addicted to white beans. At the first meal we had I fell in love with a white bean vegetarian dish I had. Yummy! 6. Neatest thing that happened I got to see Callei and Shade’s extensive book collection. They have a TON of books. 7. Worst part of the party The worst parts of the party were the heat, me being underage, and the short length of the trip.
