Human Behaviour Date Thursday, April 18, 2024 - 06:39 PM PST Topic Experiences Something seemed wrong that night. I had arrived at a small night club somewhere in Colorado and I couldn't help but feel nervous about performing that night. A nervousness I had not felt in years pulsed through my body. I began setting up my drum set thinking of just how un-spectacular tonight really was. The night was dragging by so slowly until finally we took to the stage. I still feeling that familliar adreniline rush pounded the living hell out of the first few songs, and that's when I noticed her. She was standing in front of me staring right into my soul. From the moment I layed eye's upon her I felt completely tranquil, no more nervousness. I played my instrument more perfectly in front of her than I have ever played it in my entire life. Our set drew to a close and I went to go find this girl who I knew could save my life. I scoured the night club and the parking lot but there was obviously no sign of her or those she kept company with. It later became aparrent to me that the lead singer some how managed to get her number but he wouldn't even tell me her name. I sunk within myself feeling so greatly dissapointed but i had to move on. Two weeks later here we are playing a show with Razed in Black (a band I've actually heard of) in Colorado Springs. I had my hawk up and I was all set to play... then I saw her. she introduced herself as Sabrina but somehow I had already known. She introduced me to a friend of hers with whom I had began to flirt. We began talking and she told me that Sabrina came tonight just to see me and I couldn't help but swell with joy. I rushed over to find Sabrina and we went outside and talked and she told me a tale of deceit on how she had asked our manager to give me her number and he gave it to the leadsinger by mistake. I felt so enthralled with love that I just had to make a fool of myself. As we go back to my hometown of pueblo I began to slip back into my daytime life personallity and I question the possibility of some one so beautiful caring for some one like me. Allow me to skip forward a few nights to wednsday the 26th. The annual victorian ball is tonight but I couldn't get tickets they were sold out and I was supposed to take Andrea so I had a Load of money.... tickets were like 45 a peice and I had extra money for this that and the other, so I was set. I was ready to go when the phone rang, it was sabrina and she wanted to know if she could drive down to Pueblo to see me. I must have done something right in the past life, I was nervous once again but i had attributed this to the cold. Sabrina arrived with her sister Nicole and her sisters friend Halle. We acquired licquor and then went to a punk show but on the way to the show we drove off the road and high centered on some railroad tracks.I called my dad to come tow us off the tracks. We were just sitting there in the cold and I wanted to touch her so badly but I couldn't move. then my dad showed up and we pulled sabrina's car off the tracks, so we were of too the punk show. Like I said, I had over a hundred bucks that night minus 12 bucks for that bottle so I didn't mind paying for everybody to get in. The band started playing and a circle started brewin so I jumped right in. I stood next to Sabrina watching the band play when she grabed my face and kissed me, that is possibly the happiest moment in my life. ::::INTERMISSION:::: we went back to my place and drank some more whiskey and even puffed a few j's here and there. We were watching something stupid (probably matlock) and laughing our asses off at it too, but time wouldn't stop for us tonight. Sabrina's friend had to be back up in springs by 3 am so they were off. The next time sabrina came to pueblo she came alone and we strolled through the city spending money as if it would never run out. We went to eat dinner at this real fancy resturaunt whos name I can pronounce but don't want to. I invited her back to my house too watch some movies. I put the cure in orange on and two songs into the video I was making out with the girl of my dreams. I woke up a few hours later and looked up at the blank television screen then down at the girl lying in my arms. The tape was sticking out of the vcr and the only existing light in the living room was the light coming from the digital clock at 4:30 am. I shut the tv off and ly there with Sabrina in my arms admiring the noises she made in her sleep. Sabrina woke up and shared a ciggarette with me and she stayed until just before the sun came up. I tried to sleep after she left but I didn't get to sleep at all. After she came down the next night we did the ussual watching movies and making out stuff and we even went a little further than last time. We stayed in each others arms untill 7 in the morning and then i walked her to the car. She looked up at me and asked if I was getting in. So I got in the car and we were off towards springs and before I knew it I was at Sabrina's house. We stayed in and watched tv for a bit gently clutching onto each others fingertips and then we went out and held each other some more. We went to a resturaunt and then walked out on our bill.I just followed her out like I was possesed . I was falling in love. From then on we had several adventures together and we even acquired a blonde guy, a lesbian and a talking great dane with whom we hunt ghosts and giant marshmallow men.
