The children of Anemone Date Tuesday, April 23, 2024 - 12:13 PM PST Topic Cult Boredom and eerie experiances have finally warped my dark little mind to the point of critical mass...I've finally done it, I've started my own on-base cult...a subsection of the US Navy...and got it fricking certified. On a sleepless night I dreamed up some chthulian nightmare creature named Anemone...essentially the echo of one's soul...what goes on in your head and heart when nothing else is...a sibilant whisper of dark urges and wicked impulses. The essence of my little cult is this...not listening to such powerful thoughts is not healthy, akin to holding back all your anger and rage then letting it form into a nice hard little ball of bad chi which you promptly throw at someone's head at the WRONG time... The children merely listen to these impulses...then engage in them at a predestined time and place with consenting people. So far it's just an excuse for orgies, ritual bloodletting and other such nonesense...but it's weird, I keep getting all these people coming to me, desperate to be part of this silly little group I thought up no less than a week ago...and when our Night of Revelations comes around (about once or twice a month, I haven't figured out a specific ritualized date yet) these people cut the HELL loose. At first I met with a hell of a lot of resistance...from command and military ethics, but it was a chaplain and a psychologist that pushed my idea and put it into legitimate paperwork. What happened is this, what we do, we do behind closed doors...as long as no one comes out seriously fucked up, it's all good. The weird thing is, I don't really have any desire to partake in these little games, I just wanted to see how far I could go...so far this is promising. Anemone sounds pretty cool, and people took to it, and are still taking to it like crazy...funny, I got the name from a kids book about sea animals. Neat huh?
