Please please PLEASE take the time to write to these people and let them know what rotten, hiddeous, horrible, cruel, retarded assfucks they are....I want MY guest suite in hell right next to theirs so I can play kickball with their heads for eternity. Glenwood, New York homeowners chose to use Catchmaster Glue Traps as a barbaric method of bat control, despite the recommendations of a local wildlife rehabilitater. After a small number of big brown bats formed a maternity colony under the flashing of the residence of Jeffrey and Lisa Hawayek, they contacted a local wildlife rehabilitator for help. The rehabilitator spent two hours with the couple, offering humane advice on proper exclusion methods as well as the proper timing to exclude bats from buildings (which is never during baby bat season when defenseless babies could be trapped inside). Additionally, the rehabilitator supplied the couple with educational materials and offered to come and retrieve any bats that may accidentally find their way into the couples home or yard. Several follow up offers were placed to the couple by the rehabilitaor but none were accepted. A subsequent drive to the couples house a few weeks later revealed the method they chose to use to remove the bats. This cruelty is made more atrocious by the fact that the bats pictured were mothers, who were left to die slow, agonizing deaths while listening to the cries of their starving pups just inches away. These traps remain up at the residence a full two months after this senseless act was committed.
