If something is observed, that observation changes the thing. It also changes the observer. now flip the idea around.... If something is observing, it changes the thing that it observes. This is true in that we can only see the parts of the world that we know how to see (ultraviolet, radiowaves etc cant be seen, so we found ways to make them "seen") We can only understand things in terms of ourselves. By this logic, if a goth is observing something, then that thing is goth. the goth doing the observing transmutes the neutral item into a goth thing by the meer act of observing. Sounds crazy, right. But think back on those people that you have been stuck talking to for hours and hours and how you find some common ground. That common ground id goth because it is part of you. And it is part of them so there must be goth in them. To twist this to it's extreme Barnie is goth. I have watched barnie, I am goth. therefore Barnie is goth. This last one is fun to prove. Get 3 or 4 funloveing goths together and watch a Barnie show, especially the one about table manners. It gets very surreal, spooky, and very, very goth.
