That is nice. I grade English papers for minimum wage. I graded the
shittiest paper today; it was plainly copied directly from websites.
Granted, this chick DID take the time to compile several different sources,
but anyone can tell within the first three sentences that it's not a
college writing paper because it actually makes sense.
Seriously. After grading a particularly shitty paper, I like to look up
its author (if you can call authorship) in the student directory. Then,
whenever I see him or her, I think, "Hey you . . . can you THINK?" I want
to TALK to these people, you know, as a scientific study, to see if shitty
writing is correlated with general ineptitude.
I'm not an elitist; I just have little patience for blatant plagarism and I
don't react well to incompetence, especially from people who supposedly
passed high school. ____________________ < / hate > |

the only thing that has to be harder than teaching teenagers is putting UP
with them. Granted, I do know some that aren't complete jackasses,
assholes, retards, and shitheads, but generally speaking..... ____________________ Trapped in time. Surrounded by evil. Low on gas. |

I was in age-wise a teenager, but I couldn't stand being one or being
around them. According to my mother I got over the "teenager" type crap
when I was 11 and 12. I was a booring dorky teenager and I'm a booring
dorky adult, I just dress better and have more pressing issues to get
pissed off about. I never stole anything, I wouldn't go anywhere with
friends that stole, never did drugs, never went to any parties, got good
grades, read too much and went out too little. Pretty much same old same
old even now. All I care about is that I'm not one, I can't stand most of
them, and you couldn't pay me to do it again.
I will say this, little girls between the ages of 9 and 15 are wretched
little monsters. ____________________ Trapped in time. Surrounded by evil. Low on gas. |
