I bought Dance Of Death today. It might not be their best album, by a long
way, but I still worship all things Iron Maiden! I'm listening to it now,
and the mixing is pretty terrible compared to their earlier albums. Has
anybody else noticed this? Can anyone give a reason for it? Have they got a
new studio team or what? I appreciate this forum is only really aimed at a
small minority of the Shmeng community, but don't worry, it'll fade into
obscurity in no time!

I have no other input other than maiden is an entity unto itself, and
answers to nobody. To hell with mixers, bring on the tight pants screaming
chaos.

Not true. Just listen to a Johnny Cash live album when he was getting way
up there in years doing "i've been everywhere". I'd like to see another ex
cocaine addict and alcoholic half his age accomplish that.

i love johnny cash just as much as the next person but his music, or at
least what i have heard of it, is a little lighter than iron maiden's
rock/metal tunes...
