Someone should be smart enough to realise that the current world status quo
is leading humanity into a quagmire of imbecilism and that the only way out
is wholesale revolutionary change but it isn't going to happen.

It's McDonalds that bugs me. Square fish fillets? Last I checked fish

K, anonymous, don't quote other people as your entry. We've read them,
obviously you've read them, or you wouldn't be reposting their posts. Make
up your own words, friend, you know, with that square thing attached to the
computer covered with other little square things with writing on them.
They make words, silly goose, go on, give it a shot.
And woody I totally, whole heartedly, agree.
And as for premade pbj, I saw toaster oven pbjs at the store the other day.
Anyone care to think of how disgusting a HOT pbj sandwich would be? And I
like my goddamn crusts on my bread, it's the best part. ____________________ Trapped in time. Surrounded by evil. Low on gas. |

Actually Bettie, try cooking a PBJ like you would a Grilled Cheese sandwich
on the stove top. Very delicious. I saw it on television once and I just
had to try it. There is a restaurant in NY called Peanut Butter and Co.
and they serve PBJ's tons of different ways. ____________________ "People always say what we are looking for is a meaning for life…I don't

My son brought home one of those pre-made pbjs from school one day. Here I
go to the trouble of giving them home-made peanut butter and jelly
sandwiches with 100% whole wheat bread with a nice healthy lunch, and they
go and trade it for flippin' junk food. After I explained that the
prepackaged sandwich had all kinds of bad additives in it that would rot
his brain, he agreed that the sandwiches I give him are just fine. I must
have the only kids in this area that actually check labels for things like
food dyes and other bad things. None of them will eat anything that has
lake dye in it.
MRD, grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwiches make me think of Elvis for
some reason. |

I can handle jelly toast and pb toast, and pbj on waffles, but I just can't
bring myself to grill it together.
ANd meranda, I swear you're the champion of lake dyes. When I spit out a
kid or two mine will be running around school telling all the other kids
what their jello is REALLY made of *muahahhah* ____________________ Trapped in time. Surrounded by evil. Low on gas. |

The reason it makes you think of Elvis is because he liked fried peanut
butter, bacon, and honey sandwiches. ____________________ "People always say what we are looking for is a meaning for life…I don't

Isn't that delicious? I tried out a variation on the grilled cheese
sandwich yesterday. Just add tuna salad to the sandwich, put on the other
slice of bread, and cook. Very very delicous. ____________________ "People always say what we are looking for is a meaning for life…I

Hey, there is nothing wrong with hot PB&J. Speaking as the queen
of cheap and innovative dishes that are misunderstood and mistaken as
"gross," I wholeheartedly deem it acceptable. ____________________ < / hate > |

Try grilling your sandwich open-faced, and then putting things between the
slices after cooking. I've tried a grilled-cheese sandwich with cold cuts,
romaine, and Catalina dressing in it - exquisite! It really turned out to
be an inspired combination - come to think of it, I should get the fixings
and make it again. I'm sure many other variations on the theme would be
equally divine. ____________________ "You can tell by the scars on my arms and the cracks in my hips and the

I was dreaming about grilled cheese with bacon the other day. That'd be a
tasty sandwich. ____________________ "People always say what we are looking for is a meaning for life…I

Don't you get sandwich toasters in america? What schizo is talking about is
pretty much a toasted sandwich or 'toastie' in the colloquial form. They
are fucking magnificent and have saved me from starvation (literally, piece
of old bacon and some dried chilli in a toasted sandwich was all I could
afford to eat for several days last summer, and it was acceptably
delicious...). A sandwich toaster is pretty much like a George foreman
grill thingy. But without the health benefits. It seals and heats through
the sandwich and....well, I think I've gone on enough, sorry if you already
knew all this.
MRD, you mean you haven't tried it? ____________________ Eritis sicut Deus scientes bonum et malum.
