i just wanted to know .....does this mean that there are (or will be)
consequences (of the bad kind) when practicing magic? *he asks with child
like enthusiasm* ____________________ "It is a fool's prerogative to utter truths that no one else will speak." ~

Only if you're a dorkwad who "plays" around thinking they're cool.
Seriously, and magic is NOT REAL. I mean come on, call up all your personal
"demons" and then laugh and tell them "made you look!" and see what all
that delicious energy does. It's imposing your strength of mental will on
a situation or person. It's not always nice, it's not always fair, but
neither is life. ____________________ Trapped in time. Surrounded by evil. Low on gas. |

A wonderful tyraid, Bettie. However I'd like to add one thing:
The woman in question is not only screwing with Schizo, but screwing with
her KIDS. If yoo cross a woman's maternal instinct, yoo had goddamn well
better expect her to destroy yoo, perhaps even violently. What kind of
parent would Schizo be if she just sat there and let this psycho corrupt
her children?
But she's not, she defending herself AND her children. She's excersizing
her maternal instinct and because of this her children will grow up strong
in her image rather being submissive cowards. ____________________

I will say one thing - the dark stuff is a spice, not a food group. A
little goes a long, long way. Or it's like alcohol - it's fun, theraputic,
and very easily misused. Yes, you can poison your life with it. If it was
all I did, I would end up sick and twisted and miserable, mainly because my
life would be focused on pain.
Because of this, I use "black magic" sparingly, and only when other options
fail. And when I use it, I use it cleanly and decisively, like a surgeon's
knife cutting out a cancer. Destructive, but with a constructive purpose.
And I try very hard to balance my life out with things that have as little
as possible to do with the matter. Otherwise I dwell on it too much, and
the energies leave me uptight and jittery. But maybe that's just me.
How did I know that this forum would end up with a discussion of the rule
of three?
Bettie is right - "black stuff" can cause you pain - but so can "white"
stuff. In fact, anything can cause you pain. Sleeping can cause you pain,
if you sleep wrong and your leg from the knee down falls asleep til it
feels like a block of wood and you try to stand and you can't even feel you
have a leg and fall over. Teddy bears can cause you pain when your toddler
whips them at you and catches you with their beady eyes.
Life causes pain. And few people experience more pain than those who
refuse to protect themselves. Like the wimpy kids on the playground who
get beat up by the bullies. A bully won't pick on someone they know can
defend themselves.
And that's the point of things - self defense. Anything more, and I turn
into the bully myself. Anything less, and I end up a victim. I refuse to
be either.
And if there are consequences, I will take them, like I take the
consequences of eating and breathing and all the other things that make up
life. ____________________ "You can tell by the scars on my arms and the cracks in my hips and the

Thoughts on the Three-Fold dope: I concur with bettie. Do not get me
wrong, I believe in fate by action (AKA reap what you sow, Karma, etc), but
not the Three-fold Law or anything like that. If the Three-fold Law really
existed, in my opinion, I would be killed countless times over for all the
meat I ate in my life, every bug that I squished, every single bacterium
that died from me, and every ant I poisoned for getting near my stuff.
*snickers* None of that is happening for all I know, so there we go...no
three-fold blow.
I also fully agree on the black/white magick thing that she has mentioned.
No matter what goodies you get, someone else pays the price. "It may be
free to you, but somebody else is paying for it." (Anton LaVey) Even if
Schizo didn't "harm" the girl, the girl would be screwed over for the sheer
fact that 1) she has issues 2) if Schizo warded herself, the girl can't
hurt her and/or whatnot. Am I making any sense here?
Let's face it, we're harming things by just living. Our existance costs
the life of something...even as simple as a plant or bacteria. To truly
"harm none" is to be dead...even then, maybe your corpse is killing
something in some other way.
Maybe I am thinking too much about this......
Anyway Schizo, I'll send you a spell just for some extra icing.
Blessings,
Anya

Yup, no such thing as a free lunch. If you don't pay for it in then end
someone else will, unless you had a terrible lunch and you're getting a new
one or getting a "refund".
This is equivalent to schitz's situation. Her's is the mental equivalent
of this girl giving her food poisoning and going back to demand a refund. ____________________ Trapped in time. Surrounded by evil. Low on gas. |

It's the personal use of force of directed will. That's about it. ____________________ Trapped in time. Surrounded by evil. Low on gas. |
