I thought this could be a good way for people to find out about new /
obscure / good bands and great songs. Just post which song(s) by which
artist(s) you're listening to currently. Hopefully it should lead to the
discovery of some new music for people reading.
Now Playing:
Lesbian Vampyres From Outer Space by The Scary Bitches
Ave Maria by The Cruxshadows
Lets Lynch the Landlord by The Dead Kennedys

Impaled Nazarene - Suffer In Silence
Swallow The Sun - Swallow
In fact, the whole STS 'The Morning Never Came' album. Great stuff.
Entwine - Frozen By The Sun
Moonsorrow - Jo Pimeys Saa
The very old stuff is so much different than the current, but I like it
still.

Everyone needs to check out the band Firewater. And go see/rent Hedwig and
the Angry Inch and then buy the soundtrack. I still have those damn songs
in my head from seeing it on Saturday. ____________________ Wind me up and make me crawl to you, tie me up until I call to you. |

Johnny Cash "unearthed"
The Sounds "hit me"
Interpol "turn on the bright lights"
Dimmu Borjoir
Dolly Parton "9 to 5"
I highly recommend "unearthed". Pricey box set, but if you have a costco
or sam's club you can score it for 52 bucks instead of 80. Goood shit man,
lots of extras and old songs never released. ____________________ Trapped in time. Surrounded by evil. Low on gas. |

Oh man, and Kira that is one of the BEST soundtracks ever made.
I had "origin of love" stuck in my brain for weeks afterwards, and I didn't
even mind.
Even tho I'm not much of a Type O Negative fan, go pick up their new album
(or download it from yahoo) and listen to their cover of "angry inch".
I've never laughed so hard in my LIFE. ____________________ Trapped in time. Surrounded by evil. Low on gas. |

Got the "New Wave" channel on satellite tv right...flipping a channel with
a remote is just easier than putting in a cd today. The last few that I've
been diggin' while they played were:
I Ran (So far away) - by A Flock of Seagulls
Blue Jean - by David Bowie
It Must Be Love - by Madness
The Headmaster's Ritual - by The Smiths ____________________ "When choosing between two evils, I always like to try the one I've never

There's actually quit a lot of stuff coming out of my speakers these
days,
I've listened a lot to the latest My Dying Bride album " Songs Of Darkness,
Words Of Light" and Therion's "Deggial" album. Another album that always
keeps poping back is "Houno Parturi" by Höry-Kone.
Lately I've also been playing a lot of Otep, My Ruin and Disturbed ____________________ "There are no atheists in foxholes" is not an argument against atheists.
