I'm definately up for seeing an end to the electoral
college....especially considering the last election.
I can't really remember who won...since there didn't seem to be a
winner.....but I do remember that some "douchnozzle" from texas took
it...what was his name....George Bush....no that can't be right......we had
one already......wait a minute there's two?

Yeah, it just gets me thinkin... Comparing W's skeleton closet to the big
stink that the Republicans raised about Clinton's offences... We should
have impeached, tarred-and-feathered, and drove W. out of town a loong time
ago...

it made perfect sense when
a) it took two weeks to cross the eastern sea board... the known states HAD
to send a representative
b) you were electing someone you KNEW to go vote... not an anonymous face
that could be bought off... but bob, the miller...
We honestly should start pushing for this... HONESTLY ____________________ The earth turns on a tilted axis - just doing the best it can.

I never really got to get into all of Clintons offences...all I know is
that he slept with a bunch of Homely looking women....and was almost
impeached for it.
What did W. do again??? ____________________ "It is a fool's prerogative to utter truths that no one else will speak."

Yeah, let's change the election process some more, It's not like the last
change did anything bad like start the decline of states rights or
anything... ____________________ Sometimes I dream about dinosaurs shopping for cargo shorts at the Gap.

Eh, they're all two faced vote whores. Jefferson, the man who wrote that
"all men are created equal" also wrote a book called 'Notes on Virginia'.
In it he wrote about how he believed that the african american may be
inferior, but he wasn't sure yet. He did, however say that the Indian was
most likely equal to the white man in mind and body. A few years later, the
slave owning Jefferson made public statements to the effect of 'black
people are tottally inferior and they are made for work. God made them for
our service. The refused to admit that they were just exploiting them. If
they had, maybe the atitude towards black 'inferiority' might not have
remained, thus rendering racism non-existant. But they didn't. He called
for science to prove that blacks where inferior and naturally, they found
that they were, back then. He also went back on his beliefs of Indian
equality, and after turning the entire Navaho into a near "white" comunity,
and taking half their land, they sent them on the trail of tears and forced
them into the western reservations. Fuck Bush and fuck this country. ____________________ “The only thing that can alter the good writer is death.”

Ha! If it's true it would be funny to think that Bush was just trying to
get human skulls for his old frat in Yale. Skull & Bones apparently has
all kinds of famous people's skulls sitting around in their Lodge.
Apparently, they used to have Geronimo's skull until several Tribes fought
to get it back. And if yoo think Kerry has some "skeletons in his closet"
as well, he was a "Bonesman" himself.
If no one showed-up to vote, the vote would officially be "tied" and watch
as those two morons drag us through the same BS we got dragged through last
time. Bush will of course be president next term, even if he loses the
election.
I will vote again this election, probably for Nader (again). But if yoo
thought yor vote didn't count before, take a gander at THIS: http://www.blackboxvoting.com/ ____________________

Vote? hell yeah!!!!!!!!!!! I honestly don't think Bush will be able to
slither into office again the way he did the first time around. (I think
the people will revolt!) After 9/11 I was behind Bush all the way, now I
am ashamed that he represents this country and the way he has turned the
rest of the world against us. I COULD BABBLE ON AND ON ABOUT HIS
INCOMPETENCE BUT i THINK IT WOULD NEVER END. ____________________

Woot, nice to hear your voice again Ariadne. I'm with you - I was
supporting Bush after 9/11, but now I pretty much have lost faith in the
current candidates. I'm normally for Republicans, but Bush did quite a few
boo'boo's. Republicans, let's give this country to the rightful owners:
the Republic. As we always do in times of crisis, unite with the other
parties so that we can be the United States once more.
*light beams on her*
...Do you dear lefties accept our endorsement?
(PS: I'm thinking of doing a write-in myself, but maybe something will
come up in the future. I'm honestly just going to watch and see how things
go before making my conclusion on who to vote for, both parties are being
whackos if you ask me. )

On a note, some political analysis people suggest that the people who voted
for Nader last time were the cause of Gore losing. Just food for thought,
go with your conscience. |

Gore didn't lose because I voted for Nader (even if Gore hadn't won in my
state, Nader's not to blame). If he were at all worth voting for he would
have gotten enough votes to have not gotten into that whole mess in the
first place.
If he hadn't been a spinelss moron he would have have either played
hardball like Bush was (regarding the enormous debate over who actually
won) or called Bush out and said, "wait a minute, yor completely fucking
crooked." But he did neither of those things so he lost.
And John Kerry is not going to be any better than W. Kerry is basicly
"Bush lite." The ONLY elected offical in the US who has taken moremoney
from special interst groups than John Kerry is George W Bush.
Check out his voting record. Kerry is the only Democrat who stood behind
Bush on every one of the issues he's criticzing Bush for.
Both are puppets of the same people. I liken this election to the episode
of the Simpsons where the aliens masquerade as Clinton and Dole. And in
the same situation, watch as all the frightened sheep refuse to vote for ny
but a Democrat or Republican because they have no spines. ____________________

*grins* Now I didn't say that it was throwing a vote away...was just
pointing out another thought that I found interesting. That's what he
thinks...then again, he's a strict vote one or the other type of guy,
though he's one of my favorite teachers.
I agree with you...I will probably end up doing a write-in for similar
reasons...some can call it throwing the vote away, but eh...I want to go
with my conscience.

Well, for you Nader fans, I heard rumors that he isn't going to be on the
ballot in the key states. So don't be surprised if he isn't. I think
everyone's main goal is to beat Bush. |
