This is just another example of how unreliable equipment is used to make or
break careers... What if you had a sweat problem?... What if you had nerve
twitches? Anything at all and the polygraph will fail you... Perhaps they
really use it as a test to see how well one deals under stress?
Comments? Explainations?... Discuss.

Wow, I didn't know they were so unreliable. I can't believe that people can
lose jobs, or be discounted from a number of applicants purely on the basis
of a polygraph test. I never thought they were 100% accurate anyway, but
with so much evidence against them , how can people get AWAY with still
using them as a reason for hiring or firing someone?! That's just
ludicrous, to stake someone's whole career on something that can hold
innocent people guilty, and guilty people innocent. ____________________ Do not fear death so much, but rather the inadequate life. |
