The ball is rolling and picking up speed.
Callei and I have secured a wonderful bed&breakfast that will hold up
to 23 people and has a clothing optional hot tub as well as two private
courtyards. We've arranged for a deposit, and now all we need is the
people who are coming to send their reservation fees to Callei through
paypal. Just go to http://www.paypal.com and put in [email protected] .
The fees for this party will be $150 per person. This includes lodging for
two nights, graveyard tour fee and two meals. Liquor and spending money
will be up to you guys. There is a free continental breakfast included with
the lodging. If you need any more information, please contact either me or
Callei.

The date for the party is set for June 11-June 13, 2004.
Only people over 18 are invited.
the first 23 people who send in their fees will be the ones one the guest
list.
Transportation is your responsibility.
Did I forget anything?

| Hmm... I think my cousin's wedding is in June, but I'm not sure of the
exact date. If it does interfere with the party I will probably leave
stright from there. Hopefully it wont be a concern. ____________________

I look forward to seeing you all. Please remember that this is NOT a drop
in party and pay up as soon as you can. Space is already starting to fill
and there are only so many people that can fit.
And Squid, and all the rest of you too really, where it is will remain
private to protect the poor people that agreed to rent out to us.
its a nice place, a house built in 1850 or so and near a great little
bistro/bar/laundrymat/wateringhole/diner. It is a bit romantic in
decoration, but the stain glass windows are cool to me. Some rooms share a
bathroom, some have private bathrooms (with claw foot bathtubs!). And they
are being very accomidating. ____________________

shaping up to be even more fun than i thought.

Feral, why would you want to stay somewhere else since you would be missing
out on so much of the party itself to be somewhere else?

I wont be able to make it...was something that crossed my mind, but I have
graduation and going to likely be visiting my family and relatives back in
Texas and Kansas. I'll see about next time, though.

| Several things have sort of come together to keep me from readily being
able to make it to the Shmeng party this summer. One being that summer is
normally a hard time for me to get a whole weekend off at work, but I was
recently informed that a person who could cover a shift for me for several
days is not coming back this year and a new person will eventually get
hired, etc. The next thing is that my husband is not going to be able to
request any more vacation time until after July or August, and so I would
have to go without him if I went in June. The other thing is that if I
could manage to get a weekend off in June, then I still would not be able
to request off enough time to take a bus there and a bus back. So I guess
what I'm wondering is if there will perhaps be another Shmeng party some
time that might be either during the fall or winter months (as those are
not near as hard to get time off from work, etc.)? Also, if a future
gathering is in the summer time, is there a chance of one being somewhere
near the Chicago area (as I could go to Chicago by car in 2 hours and would
really have to only have a weekend off for it)? ____________________
