This is sort of inspired by bloodlines. As a persons genetic
predispositions can say allot, I also wonder what can be determined by the
psychological nitpicking one does to determine their online screen-names.
I'm not thinking of nicknames, or game names, just screen names, like the
ones we are using on this site. Theoretically we are all having one big
conversation, where we all sort of know each other through the cyber ether
by these crazy names we choose to call ourselves. Of course there are those
of us who use real, or almost real names, but for those who have made up
crazy identity-cloaking names, well, why did you pick what you did? Was it
some disturbing childhood experience that made came to mind when you
decided to join Shmeng? Was it the alien abduction you lived through last
year? Was it to much time spent reading obscure philosophy when suddenly,
bang? I want to know. Of course, all information gathered here will be
added the psychological dossier I'm currently working up on all the
members, so help me out folks.
As for Domkitten, it was originally inspired by a character in stories I
use to write, and sort of my own predisposition as a switch….if you don’t
know what that is I’m not telling you.

My name is permanent and is four years old. As far as I know I am the only
Sticupus on the web. Sticupus fits right into my personality. It reflects
my hyper sexuality and my god complex. My friend and I sat down on the
phone for hours picking out a screen name (we were bored it was summer). I
wanted a screen name that was unique and relevant to me. So we ran through
the names of pagan entities and gods. Since I wasn’t Christian and was a
rebellious teenager, I wanted a pagan-esque name. We played with the words
Succubus and Incubus, one at a time. But I found the gender typing of the
words not reflecting my ideas or character at all. However the sexual
aspect of the two names were as fun as satyr and nymph. Finally it came out
of my mouth, STICUPUS. Incubus+ Succubus= Sticupus. It fit and was
delicious to say slowly. ‘Stick-you-puss’ as it should be pronounced. Meow.
It had the appropriate “us” ending sound typical of a Greek or Roman god,
but it lacked meaning. Thus we dubbed Sticupus- “The God of Windex, and
aquamarine crayons; and sometimes liquid nails (sometimes).” I wanted it to
be a very obscure god.
That is the origin of the mighty Sticupus.
Mmm-yes. It is not Divine.

Well let's see, I call myself Squid because I am, in fact, a 200 foot squid
with a hearty appetite for humans! There is a deeper mystery within the
name but it should be obvious to anyone who's spoken to mee and if yoo want
to know it, yoo'll have to speak to mee to find out.

Got tired of the old alias, BatKat, which I also use for DJ alias. And I
figured if anyone who know who I am would read my posts they would figure
out who I am before long anyway, so I just use - my name. B short for
surname Borgen...

My name is Xaoswolf, I decided I liked it a while ago, and so, I use it
everywhere from hotmail to AIM to here. The only time I use a different
name is occasionally when I'm playing a game, I'll use something like "bob
is a bitch" assuming of course, that bob playing the game with me, and he
is indeed a bitch, otherwise, it's Xaoswolf, or The Xaoswolf.

I picked Ironboots because it was my screenname for other things at the
time. Ironboots being the boots that Link wore in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina
of Time, which I liked. *shrug*
Now I use Skarlath more often. Skarlath was the kestrel friend of Sunflash
the Mace, Badger Lord from the Redwall series by Brian Jacques.
Mine is nothing particularly deep or interesting...I've used it for years,
since I started screwing around on the internet. I either use this one or
my real name, it doesn't matter much. I sort of felt like rippoff when I
discovered that it was also the stage name for one of the raddest
beeyatches on the face of the earth, the singer for the seattle/prague
ehtreal/alien/loungy/sleaze/cult band Salon Betty....tho we spell our names
different, I only met her once when I was 16, and that it also crosses with
my uncontrollable bettie page obsession.
But believe me, I did an experiment in an "adult" chatroom....regular name
gets nothing, but if I REALLY wanna reel in and mess with some internet
perverts, bettie x draws them in like crack to a hooker. Wierd.
I dont' use it to be, or pretend to be, a different person. It's not a
persona, it's just a screen name

the original one and only....
bettie x is a good porn star name, i'd like to hear more about this musical
group as well....

Arthegarn is a permanent nickname from 11 years ago. When I reached
majority of age the first or second thing I did was to start a RPG club
with the pompous name of "The Brotherhood". We all had to choose a name by
which to be known in our little secret society. At the time I had an AD&D
character, named Sir Drymard von Bourn, whom I used for every alias, but I
wanted something new for my identity as Grand Master of the Brotherhood.
So, Arthegarn came along. I always liked the g-r-n group as in Aragorn. I
also knew how was the Grand Master going to sign, so the first letter had
to be an A or a J. And I wanted three syllabes. I also wanted a name that
would fill your mouth of it when you spoke it, something a little hard to
pronounce but not too much. I tried several combinations and then Arthegarn
came along. I really liked it, and Arthegarn I, Grand Master of The
Brotherhood, was born.
It later became an AD&D character, Arthegarn the Awesome,

stories of mine about these two characters...
But this isn't the screen name I usually use... For the past few years i've
been known as tlhInganHom, that's klingon for 'little klingon'. Heh, aren't
I the geek?
Before that I was Bigfootgirl, mostly because I used to have big feet. I
dropped it though because I was getting too much attention from foot

Well, last time I was in Columbia and was forced to remonstrate physically
with some businessmen who thought they could cheat el gabacho blanco
chieno. While I was beating him with the freshly-emptied can of mace, for
some odd reason it came to my subconscious that I was asking him if he
thought I was a "fucking comedian" by trying to get the best price for
below-grade bleached coca porsa.
It just kind of stuck.

Latin. I like latin...one word stuck in my head above all the others...nd a
coupla' years later, bam...there be Dolorosa...doing my intentional

Plus Dolo sounds cool...

I've been married three times to date, and they all met with an untimely
demise, leaving me very happy and rich. Hey, Dolo, gettin' nervous?
Actually, it's based on a concept that has popped up in literature from
time to time, but was very popular in Victorian works. Simplified to the
extreme, the Merry Widow was someone who had had an emotional upheaval,
leaving her vulnerable and open to suggestions of all types, especially
lurid ones. Fun, huh.
That is their website....betty is about 5" tall (one of the few people I"ve
got more than an inch height on) and has freakishly exuberant vocal chords.
She's insane, I love her.
I only saw ONE of their shows, when I was 16, in BUCKLEY of all places (one
of their last shows, sadly) and I met her in the bathroom while she was
adjusting her wig.
They tamed down their show, as it was a small conservative town (if you
call whip creaming the crowd and flinging confetti after she dumped most of
the whip cream down the front of a skin tight silver vinyl vest)....I've
heard tell of flying pink monogramed tampons and glow in the dark
monogramed vibrators *lol*
Like I said I felt like a hell of a rippoff when I heard her stage name was
betty x, but hey...who knew.
You can order their cd's offline...If you can get "big haired sex circus"
off there or Ebay, BUY IT...it's the best.
I hear tell she's coming out of exile and working on a new album! Woo!

My name's catchy, easy to remember and easy to spell. I have others, Joy
Division: after the band, Slayer: one of my many Star Siege Tribes names
and Ahtareiks: for that "goffic appeal."
