Hmmm...Where to start here.
White night: Does anyone else know the kiss of death that is being called a
"Nice guy"?
Teenage sluts: Why does it count as a slut if a girl does it, but a three
point shot if a guy does?
Fag: When i was a kid, it was just as derogatory term as it is to grade
school kids these days. Before then it was a different term, but same tune.
Underage sex: Donīt get me started, when I was underage, I couldnīt wait to
have it. Now that Iīm older, i still canīt wait. I have friends who had no
interest then and have very little interest now. I know people who span the
entire spectrum. Why do the ones who are interested and self-confident
enough to try it get stigmatized?
Pedophilia: I throwing this in because I think itīs important to
differentiate between conenting kids playing everything from toesies to
hide the sausage, and adults playing mind fuck the eight year old. Also,
the same adult playing mind fuck the teenager is a statutory issue, not on
of pedophaeila. Either way I tend to think itīs wrong, but thatīs because i
know I have more experience and knowledge of people places and things. I
can talk a line slicker than most fourteen year olds and could very easliy
talk some teeny bopper into doing something She or he was not really
comforable with. And hereīs the kicker, i might not even notice i was
talking them into it. For me it might just be forplay...
Make-up/clothes on girls of any age: At what point did we becomoe so
tempo..tempor..so time centric? Has anyone actually watched any of those
old Shirley McClain shorts on A&E? I mean that is a chick who was
dressed up in the shortest skirt they could get there hands on, then they
added underskirts to make the skirts shorter and more showy, and then they
had her dancing flapper steps. For the uninitiated, those are pretty much
the rave steps of today. Oh, and she was like 8 then.
Now the teenagers and adults of today are becoming the newest target of
hatred, fear and loathing. Whatīs that all about? Girls wear clothes that
are too revealing and they are sluts, they wear clothes that are too loose
and they are ashamed and having body issues, they wear well fitted clothing
and they are snobs. Itīs the same for guys, too loose and they are slobs,
to tight and they are gigolo bois caught up in the eighties (raises hand)
just right and they *must* be gay. What the fuck is that all about? Iīll
tell you. As a young child i was taught to fear anything different. Iīm not
going to generalize here, Iīm going to blatantly accuse everyone of this.
From Devin straight on down the line. And I can use Devin as an example
because i know he can take it. When a cop pulls up behind Devin he fears
the harrassment because those police believe in a different social
heirarchy than he does. If I see a militant jock behind me on a dark street
here i fear that because i know they believe they have more right to the
worlds resources than I, and are often in a state where it seems like a
good idea to make sure they donīt have to share. That same jock is
threatened by me because i represent a totally different way of life than
he has been raised to believe is right. same thing for the Cop pulling
Devin over. We are all conditioned to fear those who are different both
because they push the boundaries of what we believe are "right" and because
occasionally they may try to push their way of life on us; either through
violence or through taking over the majority of those around us.
Is sex...?: Why limit this question with an adjective? Sex is just sex,
with it comes many complications, but we have protections against all of
them. Condoms for STDs, birthcontrol and sterilization for pregnancy,
emotional stability and a good circle of friends for that fawning
puppy-love that often follows a good orgasm, Heh, guns for those that would
blackmail us... We donīt have to stigmatize those who are comfortable with
their bodies. I donīt know how much more clearly I can state this. For
examlary purposes letīs look at a few other ideas. Some people will share
intimacy in every other way, video games, sleep overs, secrets, money, love
even. These people will then turn around and blast the person who shares
their body. Whatīs wrong with this picture? Iīll tell you, our bodies are
no dofferent than our minds and yet we try to make those who would share
one so much worse than those who would share the other. Thatīs wrong.
Suicidal tendancies: On this topic alone I could rant for ages. Some people
are by nature suicidal, I should know having fought my own battles over
this in the past. Perhaps, just perhaps; instead of turning the fact that a
girl tries/wants to kill herself over the loss of a boyfriend, perhaps we
should be sympathetic and ask if she is merely looking for an excuse.
Why would a person want to end it all? For me, at one time, boredom was
enough of an answer. The slightest disappointment was enough to push me
over the edge, and from there it was a short step to my next attempt. In my
case i didnīt reach out for help, I didnīt ask for attention, i just wanted
off the bus at the next available stop. Thankfully, I seem to be on the
express route to the end of the line. And if that methaphor abuse doesnīt
get me arrested by the grammar police, maybe it will get some of this
message across.
If a person; male, female, young, old, pretty or ugly attempts to take
their life, cuts themselves where it may or may not show, sleeps with
whoever they can, or acts in any manner which you canīt quantify, pause
before you throw Shmeng, and think about whether your own activities are
above reproach. Ask yourself if those people might be better served by a
hug and a gentle "would you like to talk?" Or perhaps just some threat free
friendship. How often would that have helped you?

| Umm, Shirley Temple, Not Shirley McClain. And once again, sex is sex is
sex. The ones who are ready will have it when they are ready. Others will
have sex too early and will learn from their experience. still others will
never have sex and never miss it. We are not in a position to judge the
world, or even our peers based on our own meager experiences in this world.
For some 12 year olds, the time is right for their virginity to become a
thing of the past. For some 40 year olds there will never be a right time. ____________________

Why a girl is a slut if she does it, but not a guy:
It is widely regarded by most of the teenage populous that it is more
difficult to get a girl to have sex than a guy.
Therefore, a guy who has a lot of sex thrown at him is both envied by his
peers to a point of Caesar-like conspiracy of betrayal. Every other guy
wants to be the popular guy, so thereīs a lot of competition to get there,
and the popular guy is even more despised behind his back than anyone
else.
While, if a girl goes out and does the same thing, it is widely regarded
then that any guy could get her-- therefore sullying the value of romantic
evenings with the female in question, and reducing her status as someone
who is īeasyī to achieve.
As I have no idea what women think of a īsluttyī girl, I would imagine the
same despisation goes on behind her back as does the popular guy. ____________________
