I found it while browsing through www.antimtv.com.
Hereīs my favorite two parts.
"Everyone does what MTV says, so why donīt you be truly rebellious and join
our side," Whittington advises teens. "Choose life, choose abstinence,
choose chastity - thatīs rebellion. Choosing abortion, choosing promiscuity
- thatīs the norm," he said."
"Ultimately, we would love for them to watch the show," he said."But I
think our primary audience are believers, and we wanted to give them an
alternative [to MTV]," Starnes said. "Itīs a program that the whole family
can sit down and enjoy watching together."
Honestly, do we need MORE family friendly nonsense in a endless cesspool of
pro-dominant idealism?
(aka, organized religious tv)
Also, do we need ANOTHER sterile, commercialized MTV-like network? One of
those is bad enough!
This is why I dont watch tv..(except for Simpsons, DBZ, Connan OīBrian,
Family Guy, CZW and Beyond Belief.)
Ah, I got a good laugh indeed.

Hey! They play POD occasionally... What more do they want? 
But seriously...
Its our own damn... damnation. If we want to live a life of sex, drugs, and
rock and roll, weīll do so, damn it!

You canīt ever beat the bible thumpers... but you can laugh at them...
Note: By bible thumpers, I mean dudes who thump other people on the head

I just read it in depth for the first time... and I laughed at this line,
talking about the alternative show...
"Along their journey, the teens are caught "sharing their faith" with
real-life "vampires," teen runaways, drug addicts and even tattooed
ministers."
What is so bad/heathenistic about people who like pretending that they are
vampires? Who said teens fleeing abusive homes are going to hell? And why
do tattooed ministers need to hear the word of God?
Some people need to get a life...
By the way, thanks AloneSoul for the link... Its a pretty intriguing place,
although the writers donīt quite mesh with my views. Finally thereīs a
conflicting opinion, but not one that pisses me off. ____________________

This is good right here.

I donīt care about how a Christian lives! In America, we all live the same
boring, trivial lives with a few twists and climaxes put in. These people
act like the world has never heard of Christians nor their perverted
church. *or are those Catholics?*
Either way itīs the same crap from the same people, different crusade.
If they want to make interesting tv then why not do a reality show on the
Salem Witch Trails, Murders and Christian Jurisdiction, The Crusades, The
Genocide of the Native Americas *among many others*, Perverted Priests and
Cover Ups?
I hate MTV. Its become a commercialized industry bent on kissing the asses
of the latest cash cows. I personally have become tired from the display of
women in videos as ready and able sluts. I let people know that I dont
enjoy crap like Hip-hop or Rap but unlike those religious zealots, I
simply change the channel.
You got kids? Dont want them to see what REALITY is? Then shackle them up
in their rooms until they have reached the governments maturity age of
18, STOP using your religion as a tool to control peoples lives and quit
trying to restrain the world.
We dont need Christian censors telling people what we can and cant see.
Even if it is to the nature of a teenage fad channel.

I think itīd be rather preferable to another old, tired out, drawn out,
overdone, over thought, over dramatised, over realised, outburned (pun
intended)"witch trial" bit. Thatīs not just old hat, but old broomstick,
old cat, and old newtīs eyes by now. At least Iīd have something to throw
my stuffed animals at.
Why donīt they run interesting twists on POLITICS. The stuff they dontī
TELL you about that is public record that only the paranoid and militant
bother to dig into? Or a channel all about seahorses? Or a 24/7 spike and
mike channel? Or a channel all about just WHERE they find all those
interesting and credible stories in the world weekly?
I just like how everything relating to god is called
"Truthsomethingorother". How about "This is what we THINK...doesnīt it
feel good when we spoon it up your nose? channel"
Iīd rather snort blow off a diseased hooker than have jesus squeezed into
my sinuses.
I say let īem waste their money. If any channel can make money off DC
Talk, jars of clay, and creed videos, hooray for them. I just hope it
doesnīt come with basic cable like the 700 club.
Kids, this is what happens when youīre sleep deprived, stressed out, and
BORED ....and canīt resist the urge to click the internet icon on your
computer desktop at ungodly hours.

Whatīs so bad about that? *fondly remembers the nights he surfed the web
until 6 in the morning, because his father would be home at 7*
But yeah, Betty... I like your style of programming... Taking the idea of
militant and paranoid programming a sidestep, someone should make shows
relating to all those cool books in the army surplus stores. Like a show on
how to subdue a police officer. Or perhaps they could take random
selections from the anarchistīs cookbook and really flesh them out on
screen, kinda like a cooking/home improvement show.

I like the idea of an insomniac channel...all that will play is "Insomniac,
with dave attell", twilight zone reruns, tales from the crypt, audrey
hepburn movies, nature programs, government hidden cameras (beware taxi cab
confessions!) and politics/conspiracies ala public access style.
I had a friend with a cable access show...he was 12 then and would just sit
on the teevee and listen to stoners bitch him out on the air. It was the
"We hate mark" show.
Gotta love cable access.

| I still like the idea of a random webcam show. There are so many of them
out there these days and alot of them are on full time. You could rig the
show up like MST3K and just swap through a whole bunch of them. Who needs
reality TV when we can have "making fun of reality TV" ____________________

I actually changed my mind about it being on basic cable. I HOPE it
is...so I have something to do when I have a day off, when Iīm steamin piss
drunk and wanna lay around in my underpants and fling shit at the
teevee.

MTV, like any other network is out for one very important thing.

We all need it, thatīs what we work for. You can toy around with other
explanations as to why and if network executives really care about their
viewers. None do....except religious zealots who want to "save your soul."
