Dress the same, act the same, talk the same, learn the same, think the
same, being intoxicated by distinctive rules guidelines and boundaries that
are strategically put there to shape our young feeble minds into whatever
they please. Don’t chew gum, keep your hair tied back, school uniform must
be worn, no elaborate hairstyles, no jewelry, no swearing, no music during
class, you must not show any form of expressing yourself in any way. In
short… Leave yourself at home before you come to school….
They only like dealing with brain-dead play-doh like people that they can
mould into the shape of what they themselves could never be, regardless of
how you feel about it. They are forever in search for that oh so addictive
power trip, get up, sit down, get out your books, where’s your homework?
Tuck your shirt in, pull your socks up, fix your tie, I’ve told you ten
times already to do that, be quiet, your wasting your time not mine, we’re
going into your lunchtime, I’m disgusted with your attitude. Now go and
clean up the school and let me belittle you whilst I get a coffee and
pretend to mark your work and forget to show up for class, wasting your
money and time.
Because don’t forget I am a stupid arrogant bitch that feeds on your
misfortune, and I rapidly grow and get self-confidence from overpowering
you and beating you down, but only because I have no self confidence my
self for I have a sad, sad life.
Well you know what I say, I’ve said it before and I‘ll say it again, pull
your narrow minded head out of your fucking ass, treat me and my fucking
opinions and views on life with some fucking respect, coz I’m sick of this
bullshit!
I don’t know why I am writing this…my mind goes at a million miles an hour,
I just wish I could type just as fast so that all my intricate detailed
thoughts are represented in my writing instead of me skipping them for fear
of forgetting them anyway? God only knows what I´m talking about, but hey
he´s fucked up too! Look at the platypus. I´m so claustrophobic i gotta get
out...

Oh, and I agree with you about having so many thoughts and wishing you
could get them down on paper or disk just as quickly as you think of them.
Unfortunately when I try I make typos and forget them anyway. Damnit.

| yes well I don´t follow the rules which is usually why my reports suck and
I get detention a lot. I believe in independant thoughts, thats why I do
bad on comprehension in reading class. I can comprehend things just fine,

| I have a freacking uniform with tie and that shit and we have this old
lady who keeps "order", I had all my black clothes and i died my hair red
blood and had my nails black because we have the uniforn 3 days of the week
and the other 2 we´r supossed to dres as we wish but no , this fucking old
lady tells me that i am a satanist that i can´t enter school like that and
calls my parents so i had to die my hair blak again and i can´t wear black
all the time and my works in literature class can be about my suposley
morvid mind :roll: so now my clothes and died hair are gone and my mind I
have to leave it at home :cry: ____________________

If you can´t wear all black, then wear all white. Or go for corporate-style
and wear ultra-formal suits. Or wear exactly what she wore the day before.
(hey, it may not be ´gothic´ but it pisses her off...)
But isn´t there some sort of rulebook reguarding dress codes at your
school? If its in the book, I don´t think its negotiable on the grounds
that she´s being a bitch. But if its not in the book, then raise hell. (Pun
unintended)

| hey thats a good idea , and yes theres a rule book but in the dres code
there isn´t any rule against my hair or my black clothes but this old lady
has the power i don´t know the word in english i think its prefect i duno
but she can change rules as she pleases yust because like that she will
preserve the orther in the school :sad: anithing i do is usles, but your
idea is good :-D ____________________

Back in here cold, white Finland there´s no schooluniforms, but like it
fould matter something. I just started my own studies (I´ve been at work
for a year earning some cash to fund those damn expensive books if you
really are interested) only to notice that majority of people is still
almost indentic copies of each other. Everyone has same clothing (though
colours may be various  ), talk same bullshit from our to our and don´t know anything
else than what they have read from books. Oh, and of course exchanging
"fashiontips". Talk ´bout personalities then. ____________________

| Reading that first post.. did you ever stop to think that one day, a long
time ago, your teacher was a bright-eyed, eager person, ready to teach
school, and help kids? People certainly don´t get into teaching for the
salary... Could it be that over the years and years of having to put up
with deliberately rude and unruly kids, she just gave up and is going
through the motions just like you are? Your teacher isn´t trying to fuck
your life up. She´s just trying to survive another year without getting an
ulcer or having a stress-related heart attack. Go easy on the poor woman.
Just shut up and do what you´re supposed to to pass the class... most of
you are in high school and there´s not that much more to go, anyway. Maybe
she´s lost her self-confidence by being told to "fuck off" about 5 times a
day by kids that aren´t even her own for the past 15 years. Maybe her life
is sad, because all her dreams of teaching kids and turning out good
citizens have been worn down by daily fights about homework, or proper
classroom behaviour. If she *has* to tell you 10 times to do your
classwork, be quiet, and quit wasting time, she´s going to get discouraged
about the whole thing, and then there´s no way she´s going to be interested
in validating your opinions. Have you ever tried to understand her
opinions? Instead of seeing her as the enemy, remember she´s just there
doing her job, and she´s as trapped as you are. You can make the whole year
go well or badly, depending on your own attitude. And I´m sure if you
treated her as a human being, and not a monster, she´d smile at you and
listen to your opinions. (I have a lot more understanding and respect of
teachers these days. My kids are giving me hell, and I´m their MOTHER. I
know how frustrating it is to try to get someone to learn, when all they
care about is whatever it is that they´d rather be doing. I have very
little sympathy for children who selfishly torment an innocent victim who´s
only trying to do what´s right.) Also, I´m sure there´s a lot of you out
there who are model students, and are polite to the teacher.... this post
does not apply to you... ____________________

My school´s dresscode:
1. Students are expected to be appropriately dressed and groomed for school
at all times.
-thats kind of vague, what is appropriate? lets read on.
2. Students may not wear clothing that displays sexually explicit logos,
designs or slogans.
-don´t practice safe sex. (joke)
3. Skirts and shorts need to reach the end of the student´s fingertips
-I feel bad for those girls who have long arms, they´ll be buying their
clothes in the boys department
4. Shirts must have a reasonable neckline that must not fall below a line
extending from armpit to armpit
-they only pick on the girls who get good grades and aren´t stuck up.
5. Shirts must fit appropriately for school and not skin tight
-tell that to some of the teachers.
6. Spiked jewelry is not allowed. Body piercing jewelry must be removed
for physical education classes.
-I´m not taking off my spikes for anyone. What am I going to do, hit
somebody with my neck?
-what if you can´t take off that jewelry because it was just pierced?
7. Heavy chains may not be worn to secure wallets or around the neck
-ok I´ll just wear office supplies
8. T-shirts that make derogatory statements may not be worn.
-bully
9. Students may not wear clothing or jewelry that advertises or displays
alcoholic beverages, tobacco, or illegal drugs.
-half the boys will be have to buy new clothes.
10. Students may not wear or possess gang related insignia, colors,
paraphernalia, materials, apparel, including, but not limited to, gloves
bandannas, shoestrings, wristbands, jewelry, or tattoos which are likely to
cause others to feel threatened.
-shoestrings?
11. Students may not wear clothing that is disruptivie to the learning
environment, or presents a concern related to personal health or safety.
Examples include, but are not limited to, excessively short skirts or
shirts, halter tops, spaghetti straps, clothing that reveals the midrif,
and chains.
-get air conditioning and we´ll all wear heavy sweaters.
12. Students may not wear hats, caps, bandannas, or other headgear during
regular school hours unless they are related to a specific school activity,
religious practice or are needed as a matter of health. Administration
needs to be informed of these special circumstances so that a pass can be
issued to the student.

13. Wear shoes.
-I simplified that.
I usually don´t have any problem with the school system. But they took my
cool coffin shaped backpack away because the straps that go over the
shoulders were chains. They weren´t even heavy chains. *sigh* And when
it comes right down to it you can´t find shorts that aren´t really short.
Er, hotpants. A teacher called a girl´s parents for wearing shorts that
were "Too short" (about an inch above her knee) while another girl walked
by in shorts that could have been mistaken for panties. I think it´s just
about who the teachers favor. ____________________
