Oh I got the whole end of the world thing from my mom today, me and Kel
that is. You know everything is in place and it can happen anytime
now....which is what I have been told since I was a little girl. I get sick
of hearing it, if it is true then I will just go to hell.....shit it cant
be all that bad all my friends will be there drinkin 40's so hell yeah send
me to hell baby!!

Ialready told ya you're welcome CBG... I've got some waterfront property by
the lake of fire, and anyone else that wants to is welcome to pull up a

Canonically, if I'm not mistaken, Eve only had three sons (And yup, sons
were all they mentioned), Caine, Abel and Seth. We're supposed to all be
descended from Seth, Caine's line was wiped out during the flood. I
say...yeah, sure whatever. Another thing that strikes me as weird...when
Adam and Eve nosh the apple, and God says "They have become like us." Who
the fuck is "Us?" A couple times in the bible and especially in some of the
Midrashims it alludes to the presence of "others" comparable in power and
nature to YHVH himself. Hrm...I also really like Lillith, Lillith is
Bad-ASS! First wife of Adam, and when god kicked her out, she told him to
fuck off...from what I've gathered. Then of course she was said to have
made demons an monsters to plauge the Sons of Adam...but thats cool.
On the baseline though, if I die and go to hell...I'm damn well going to
try and usurp control. Although one thing always gets me...
Lucifer rebelled from God right?
Since when did Angels have fucking free will?

OK Dolo - here is the Holy Inspired Word Of God on the subject!
Genesis 4:25 - And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called
his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead
of Abel, whom Cain slew.
Genesis 5:3-4 - And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son
in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth: And the
days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he
begat sons and daughters:
So, Abel, Cain and Seth were the only children of Adam given names in the
Bible, but it is stated that Adam had mulitple male and female children
after Seth.
Never argue with a Bible School graduate! They know the chapter and
verse!
Churches don't usually bring up Lilith because she's not mentioned in the
traditionally accepted books of the Bible.
And as for the "us", it could refer to the 3 persons of the Trinity, or it
could be the "royal we" used by British kings. I'm not sure what the
original Hebrew was.
Damn, it's kind of weird having all this useless Bible knowledge. I spent
20-odd years studying it, and now all it's good for is discussions like

Angels were created with free will. In different books that are accepted in
some places and rejected in others, there is actual dissention amongst the
angelic host.
In one instance, the angels didn't want humankind to have what would
essentially be the Torah. They likened it to throwing pearls before swine.
It took a rebuke from God to get them to let it go and stop grumbling.

I went to a catholic school from the end of 3rd grade thru 9th grade (not
because my parents were religious, but because they wanted me in private
school instead of public during those years, and all the private schools in
the area were religion based *shrugs*). Anyways, I remember in about 4th
grade one of the nuns who was a "religiion teacher" talking about the Adam
and Eve and Eden situation. She said that it was all just a story made up
to give a clue about the beginning of creation, and not to be taken
literally. She said that Adam and Eve were not real people and that the
garden of Eden was not a real place. I always thought that was so odd for a
"religion teacher" to point out.

I have a christian geography teacher that has never ever said anything
about God having anything to do with it. he is a nice guy. I have one
christian in my class and she is alright, but the other atheist people on
the other hand isn't. the males are rather chauvinistc and racist while
the females are rather superficial and more caring about fashion then
anyhthing else. one girl actually said I was a cold hearted bastard when I
asked why people had a funeral ( I found out after a little thinking) but
the same girl said "thats how it is" when I another time pointed out of
women in general has it in the third world..
So around here it is different with the christians atleast, not entirely
certain out on the Isles since I moved but the Christian fundemantalists
seems to be on a role and I know that most of those people are Ateists
looking for a social time. God how I tend to talk my self away
ok, I will try to formulate my last thoughts now, every people are basiacly
the same they only have different reasons you might say.. the christians
say that homosexuality is a sin, while the non religious say that they
think it is disgusting. damn.. still not right. I give up trying to
formulate my self right now..
ps: how came up with calling homosexuals for gay? funny people? ____________________

Man...I've learned a crapload of stuff just from this forum...nifty.
One thing I've seen though is...not too many Angels seemed to like us very
much, the morningstar being one of the higher ups...I wonder why so many
people depict angels and cherubs as fluffy winged babies and friendly
things. I have a suspicion that angels are fucking terrifying, and prolly
not at all friendly...and Cherubim! If I'm not mistaken...aren't they like
the "Tanks" of god? TANKS aren't cute little flying babies!!
Anywho...>sigh< it's all just weirdness, but damn canit be
interesting sometimes.
I think the closest thing I've ever had to a fight with Merry was the
whole "Angel's didn't have free will!" "Yes they did!" thing...
It's cool that folks can discuss this stuff without going at eachothers
throats...props.
And Stic...Purity of mind, and Purity of Body are two vastly different
things...the body loves to be impure, and the mind...well shit...thats the
most important thing right there...and it don't come easy, or at all
mostly.
Knowledge and Religion are not mutually exclusive, although they may seem
to be. Western Literacy became prominant because of religion...actually, I
think that could be said for any form of literacy anywhere...I may be
mistaken of course, but I don't think so.
This morning I shot a Raelien in my pajamas...how he got in my pajamas,

Here's my understanding of the whole "lillith" deal.
It did not begin with adam and eve (it was ADAM AND STEVE!!! *SNARF* sorry)
but adam and lillith. Adam and Lillith were made of the same clay, and
given life at the same time, and when adam demanded that lillith be
subordinate to him and his will, she rebelled because she felt his equal,
as they were made of the same things by god, and god gave her an ultimatum
whereas she could be a good little glory hole and STAY in paradise, or she
could pack her shit and git. She chose to pack her shit, and was spirited
away to a cave on the far east horizon where she births hordes of demons
daily to torment the sons of adam and eve. Perhaps the meaning of "hell
hath no fury like a woman scorned"? I doubt it, but very very fitting.
Then adam was lonely and wanting another wife, so this time god made eve,
but not out of the same substance of adam, but from his rib, so that she
would be FROM him and hence would not be his equal and be subjected to his
will. Shazam.
In most understandings lillith is simply a demon in a pantheon of demons,
one that seeks to harm children, especially newborn baby boys. Women used
to light votives and say prayers to appease her and keep her from harming
their newborn sons and daughters.
Lillith has always sort of been the badass feminist of biblical eras. Born
a feminist before the idea was even HEARD of ;P She's been everything from
a demon and babykiller to a modern embodiment of women's rights and
equality and whatnot.
Not bad for gettin your ass slung out of paradise for not keepin your mouth
shut 'eh?

Hey! thats the same Lillith story I heard...bad ass. Go figure the first
woman would cause all sorts of trouble like that...haha! just kidding,

What a babe though...
I've heard that the second wife wsn't eve, in fact, she was made in the
same manner as Adam and Lillith, but alone (And thus lesser) unfortunately
Adam saw her geting made, was disgusted and refused to give her name.
Incidentally, anything without a name just sort of isn't...so poof, she was
done. God had enough of Adam's crap, knocked 'em out, ganked his rib and
yaddah yaddah poof! "Eve."
If this is true, than Eve is adam's THIRD wife...not his first or his
second...shit, that guy has a horrible fucking track record.
Weird how the bible later states (I think, correct me if I'm wrong plz)
that the only excuse for divorce is adultry. Adam did it just out of
dissatisfaction and being a dickhead.
Man, Adam got it easy...until god laid down the law of entropy...
Dude, thats such a whacked out idea for a soap opera!
I personally have a problem with the whole superiority of males over
females thing. The prevalence in a lot of religions bugs the shit out of

Dude...good point! marriage as an institution didn't come around until much
later. Shit, Adam had it made. All the women he could ever want, and if he
didn't want 'em...poof, gone, gets another...all he had to do was stay away
from the apple.

before the fruit they were just animals that were running around? If so,
why does the Christians go around claiming that it was God that gave us

Slight misshot there, a bit. Man had free will (other we couldn't have
eaten the damn apple and disobied the big kahuna) what he gained from the
apple was the knowledge of good and evil...which he promply lost immediatly
after...
