Okay first of all, if yor going to start a forum, try to at least have
something if not intelligent then at least intereting to say. Second of
all, yoo say yoo hate the US, have yoo ever even been to the US? Third of
all, I think yoo'll find most Americans hate the Bush administration even
more than yoo.
Yoo what's ALOT more intersting (though only slightly more intelligent)
than what yoo "have to say?" Speculations on who would win in a fight
between Arnold Schwarzeneger and Jesse Ventura! One on one, no holds
barred, full-on, to the death.
I'm gonna have to go with Ventura, sure he's let him self go a bit but
Arnie's no Mister Universe anymore. And believe mee,I've lived in both
Minnesota and California, if anything, I'm biased AGAINST Minnesota.
Oh yeah, and Devin, if Wisconson is part of Canada, then what's Minnesota? ____________________

“Yes, we screwed up many times those were BIG fuckups. Segregation, moving
the Japanese into camps after Pearl Harbor etc...”
The etc stands for a immeasurable list of atrocities committed by the U.S.
- I’m not denying the things that this country has done. When it comes to
Swedish foreign policy today, I’m comparing their actions with the aid of
rebuilding Iraq/ ( removing dictators), although I should have narrowed
down my “What has Sweden done for the world” to “done for Iraq” -
specifically aiding the citizens, rebuilding the government, aiding combat
and stabilizing the nation - when it comes to me with a heated debate
inaccuracies tend to fly and I’ll be the first to admit that and correct
them.
America to (hopefully to be exact) is around 226 years old, although I
could be mistaken (as I stated in my previous post over/ around “300" isn’t
a exact guestimate). That is still a blip on the time-line of nations and
hence we’ll screw up a lot more (hopefully) before we get it right. If you
feel there are inaccuracies in my post then feel free to exploit/ bitch/
moan/ flame about them - if you wish to get into that sort of debate. I’m
willing to admit my mistakes, (again) correct them, refute another’s
viewpoint but I’m not gonna pussyfoot.
As for this flame session, I’ve had part and am already waiting for those
two to be deleted. I don’t feel like turning this into a “forum war” since
I don’t have the time/ patience. - Pertaining to personal attacks/ country
attacks, I slung the mud because they tossed the same crap. This isn’t a
matter of being “PC” and this is not a matter of a “eye for a eye” (despite
the similarities of the last sentence) but as said before, a chance to get
out some steam.
- Getting off topic: The statement “if you don’t like this land then leave”
is actually being pushed in the form of a bill, so it’s not as absurd as
you think - they’re actually trying to activate this. I forgot which
congressman is (or was) pushing this bill but he wishes to limit the amount
of immigration in this country greatly. I believe posted that link on this
forum before.
Also “if you don’t like this land then leave” pertains to what the scenario
would be like should the U.S. retract it’s foreign policy. We’ve done a lot
of terrible things but we’ve also done a lot of good.
Oh and I too will vote for the other guy, so long as he isn’t Gore or
Lieberman.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/low/talking_point/3109118.stm -
To toss in some extra stuff.
- One other random though: Most basic ideas of government (communism,
democracy etc) are good in design but in practice they are corrupted by
men.

You so lost me Alone, is a congressman attempting to limit howm any people
can -leave- the US or come in? I'm talking about leaveing the United
States, tossing my citizenship behind me like so much abusive garbage, and
getting on with my life. The United States as a land mass has too much
invested in international trade to effectively stop people from leaving.
And once we are off their soil, there isn't a nation on the planet that
will allow extradition just for the act of leaving. Also...
"Also “if you don’t like this land then leave” pertains to what the
scenario would be like should the U.S. retract it’s foreign policy. We’ve
done a lot of terrible things but we’ve also done a lot of good" I have no
clue what you are talking about here how about a hint?
Other than that, remember, the key to a good flame or counter-flame is to
think through what you intend to say, and then re-read it. Flaming by
itself is easy, flaming well takes preparation. ____________________ It is only through the lack of sex that humanity derives the need for an

1. Yeah, this bill is trying to greatly limit immigration coming in
America...the bill doesn’t concern exiting the country though. It should be
under the thread “Immigration Regulation” but I can’t find it right now.
2.Your previous post spoke of listing members who’s countries have been
“decimated, over-run, obliterated, or just falsely taken by the US”
My “if you don’t like this land then leave” statement concerns the idea of
what would happen if the U.S. does nothing with foreign affairs - as I was
trying to say that the U.S. has done many terrible things (war, economic
sanctions etc) but we’ve also done a lot of good (actual liberations,
foreign aid etc)

Looks like the troll bait was taken. I hate seeing a successful troll.
Arguing with a troll is like writing a "what is goth" article. No matter
how brilliant what you write is, you're still just contributing to the
problem.
I'm with meranda on this - I'm glad shade's speaking for us.

speaking as ex military myself and with a husband about to deploy to that
region, everyone is free to speak out for or against any issue in this
country. i believe my longwinded post attested to the freedoms we possess.
the "like it or leave" means nothing to me at all. i did not vote for bush
and will not be voting for him in next year's election. i can still look at
the situation objectively and any other politician would have probably
handled the situation the same way. clinton bombed iraq too. i do not think
anyone on this forum has the ability, myself included to react to such dire
circumstances in the right way. the world is not a nice place. on 9/11 my
base was on alert because there was still another plane unaccounted for and
i lived in an area with the highest military capability in the us. i had my
kids w/ me ,scared for them.i know a little about military strategy from
the tactical exercises i have endured. maybe iraq had no ties w/ al qaeda
but saddam is A GENOCIDAL MANIAC and if you all think it is cool for bodies
of women and children to be thrown into mass graves, or for the kurds,
mostly women and children being killed by a chemical attack by saddam
hussein, sure then the war probably is wrong. but likewise everyone has
there own take on how things should have been done, i wish we would have
waited for the un so we wouldn't have to spend all of our own money on this
war. that is where bush fucked up the most. perhaps if he would have waited
for un approval then maybe my husband would be home for xmas or possibly be
here for his daughter's first b-day or maybe see her walk for the first
time. ____________________

America has been a "united" country, at least in Federal Tax Code, since
the North Conquered the South in 1865.
so less than 140 years.
Just a little longer than the War of the Roses.
38 year longer than the Ford Company has been around.
10 years less than air conditioning has been around.
In that time we have added to our size though the purchase of alaska and
the conquering followed by annexation of several sovereign nations.
Just my little bit of troll bait here.... ____________________ Real goths wear silver and crosses to keep the werewolves and vampires

Everyone needs to see the 100th episode of South Park. Everyone knows that
every major issue the world faces can be related to a South Park episode.
This is no exception.
For those too lazy to see it, I'll sum up the moral of the story:
The United States was founded on the principal that since everyone would
hate America if it was pro-war and everyone would walk all over America if
it was anti-war, the people should be able to protest what the government
does. That way the rest of the world would hate the american government
but not the people.
To quote the founding fathers, "it's like having your cake and eating it
too"
So the support our troops people need the bring them home
people to keep them from looking like assholes, and the bring them home
people need the support our troops people to keep them from
looking like pussies. Founding the country on the principal of hypocracy
instead of the principals of war or peace keeps America from getting
pummelled for being assholes or pummelled for being pussies.
Gotta love south park
(it's episode 701 if you're searching for it) ____________________ So Sayeth Me |

devin is right, as an after thought , we fell prey to insanity. i have read
over everyone's posts again and i wanted to say that, shade, atleast you
have the ability to choose to leave this country even though at times it
sucks to live here. i probably shouldn't have started preaching to "fuxxer"
but damn my hubby's going to be placed in harm's way and my blood began to
boil. i have seen that episode of south park myself and it was funny as
hell but in its own way very true. ____________________

I'm with ya on that feeling alonesoul, but I"m forsaking the shift key and
straight up smearing vegan pot pie on my monitor.
And Sweden is okay, I think The Sounds are from Sweden, and some pretty
kickin black metal. OOOO and tempurpedic matresses. Those are FAB.
There is a point to the sweden flattery...it goes to show that I can look
at two total morons with an uninformed chip on their shoulder who are from
a certain country, and still find a few good things about said country.
You ARE from sweden right? Oh who fucking cares, I just want the bed. I
want one swede boy, now. If you're not swede and can't get me a bed you
better apply for residency, start work at the matress factory and hook me
up or I"m sending my president after you.

Tho I'm sure it would be a fair fight between Arnold and Jesse, Arnold just
lacks that "I used to be a pro wrestler" pinache. I doubt he could pull
off zebra stripe pants and a yellow feather boa, for that matter.
I'd totally vote jesse ventura president. Plus, he'd outlaw bombs and just
send troops out with folding chairs and cheap aluminum trash cans. Or
perhaps he could instigate battles between leaders, not whole countries.
You know, like putting Dubbya and Hussein in a hair vs hair winner take all
hell in a cell match and make it pay-per-view.
